Had business credit account since 2004. Missed ONE payment on my credit card because of snail mail, had to cancel the check, then learned that my interest rate jumped skyward to 27.99%, monthly payment doubled.

Went to a branch, made my late payment, explained what had happened. They reversed a $39.00 late charge, gave me a number to call to reduce my interest rate. Made the call to learn that I had to fill out paperwork that would take 7 -10 business days to reach me.

There would be a review and then they would CONSIDER my application.
