My housing counselor informed me this was predatory lending. I was not grossing 3,000 a month and somehow they boosted it up to their standards. Wells Fargo needs to fest up to their wrong.

Who in the world gets all the way through a home purchase without knowing your payment amount? There has to be more to this story.

No wobder, Wells Fargo, is being sued, again and again, this time by Navaho Indian tribe, one of they're biggest clients, for preditary practices. Also, Ireally doubt they're online services are secure, as Im having problems with them , and after 4 or 5 calls, and emails, they have failed to solve anything.I am totally ready to switch banks, for my mortgage, and close Visa acct.

with them. The list goes on, but, I want to go and find a better bank, with, better trained people.

Wells Fargo: Worst Closing Ever

My Letter to WF Leadership Wells Fargo Leadership, December 1, 2016 I am writing to you today so you will know why I paid off my Mortgage so quickly… a very quick 7 months after my closing. I did NOT like the way my closing was handled at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. Even going through proper channels to air my complaint… Nothing was done about it! If Wells Fargo, or any of the several complaint representatives I spoke to, apologized properly, I would have continued making mortgage payments on a regular basis for the next 30 years. Case Closed. Unfortunately, Wells Fargo would admit no error was made, and strongly defended their stance, while making me, (your decades long customer) more disgruntled than ever! Since I would not accept the way you treated me, I had to rethink my 20-year relationship with Wells Fargo. I realized, there is no such think as customer loyalty in the banking industry. Banks only understand money and the bottom line. So, I immediately closed out my savings and checking accounts, and moved all my funds to a competitor bank. (They couldn’t be nicer!!) I utilized my investment counselor at work and was able to come up with a plan to pay off my mortgage immediately. By doing this, Wells Fargo will NOT be making any more money off of me from interest associated with my monthly payments… and that will be significant with a 30-year mortgage! As far as customer service is concerned, I think Wells Fargo really needs to step up their game. I was treated poorly, and no one did anything about it. I was a 20-year customer of Wells Fargo, and my last mortgage was through Wells Fargo, and paid in full. I had an outstanding banking history with Wells Fargo. A model customer. You might think my closing would have been super smooth and easy. Well, it was not! My closing was delayed 3 extra days by a minor clerical error, and no one responded promptly to correct it. Being notified about this on such short notice, lacked professionalism and decency on your part. When I protested, their attitude to me was "dismissive". Originally, I was packed and ready to move on Friday after the closing. On Wednesday evening, I received word that this would not happen, and my closing was delayed until Monday, but due to my work schedule, I wouldn’t be able to move again until the next Friday. Now, I had to cancel my moving truck, and reschedule a new one. This was difficult, since now it was the end of the month. I had to miss 2 more days at work, one for the closing and one for the Friday moving date (no trucks were available to rent that weekend). The callous and uncaring way this office at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, 360 Interstate North Parkway, in Atlanta, Georgia just dismissed my concern was totally unacceptable to me, and I would not tolerate it. Sending 3 Mortgage representatives to sit across from me at the closing table felt more like retaliation and intimidation for speaking up, than the goodwill gesture they implied. Going forward, I will continue to speak unfavorably about Wells Fargo. I am that one customer that received horrible service, “and will tell everyone about it.” I hope my example will change the way you treat other long-time loyal customers of your banking institution, or you will have them leaving just like I am. If there is a complaint…. LISTEN to it. Show some compassion, and make it right. You did none of those things with me, and now… I am your former customer. Mr. P. Scott

Wells Fargo - 3 months and still haven't closed

3 months ago we were pre-approved for a home loan, we already had the house picked out and were told we should close in about 45 days. It is now 6 days shy of 3 months and the contract for the house is about to expire. It has been 3 months of frustration. Wells Fargo keeps requesting the same information over and over again. We have sent bank statements, copies of paystubs, copies of credit references each 3 times, and they have made up complete "addendum" 3 different times, each times we are told that that they must be signed by the seller and us ASAP! Now, 6 days before closing we are being told that we cannot close due to "government regulations" and we have to ask the seller for an extension. Coincidentally the loan officer is going on vacation next week! Horrible experience and surely to get worse before we finally get to close.

Wells Fargo - Mortgage Review from Lynn Haven, Florida

No one could believe my story with Wells Fargo. In 2005 we went in the bank to get a mortgage on our home, we could have used VA but the rep said it would take to long to just go ahead and do it FHA or *** Mae. Well for some crazy reason she put one as a Home Equity Loan and the other a mortgage. Then having two accounts when I made payments they always posted the payments to the wrong accounts and made us late on our payments. So we decided to try to refinance or do a harp loan and we were shocked to find out from the branch manager we couldn't because neither Loan Was Mortgage Loans they were interest loans only! Now who in their right mind would have such a Loan? Then they refused us a harp Loan. We wrote them and talked to them about the fact my Husband retired and I had Cancer and they still would do nothing. So we had to sell our home which was less than $ 200, 00 on a short sell and move. We are 69!years old and I think that's a crying shame that we had to give up our home at our age and rent after 10 years. And we had put a lot of money into the house. I believe that considering the fraudulent way that was handled we are entitled to receive some monetary compensation for all of this. Please answer me back, I am considering consulting our State Attorney Pam Bondi concerning this fraud. Sincerely, Linda Allen
