Have contacted Wells Fargo repeatedly trying to finance deceased father's auto loan in my name and have title transferred to me (the personal rep of his estate). Online website claims that minimum balance to finance auto loan is $5,000, but auto loan department over the phone claims that the minimum balance is $7,500.

Wells Fargo repeatedly refused to finance auto loan in my name using a long line of excuses including (1) the loan balance is not $7,500 even though the website says it only needs to be $5,000, (2) I have no credit (even though I have more than 30 years of credit experience and an excellent credit rating and Wells Fargo employee admitted that they didn't even check my credit when I questioned it), and (3) I have no mortgage (since when do you have to have a mortgage to qualify for an auto loan?). I will never do business with Wells Fargo again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Preferred solution: finance the auto in my name.

I didn't like: Being lied to by customer service.
