Wells Fargo in Edinburgh, Scotland - WF win’t Liquidate my certificate of deposit

About 5 years ago I took out a certificate of deposit. It matured and whe I tried to cash i, the bank renewed it at 0 percent interest. One of their representatives said they would cash it and assured me that the funds would be in my checking account in a few days I checked, no money. Then they tell me that it could not be liquidated because they had renewed it. What a scam! The customer service representatives are rude, snide, place you on hold for hours and each one tells you a different story. The worst bank I have ever used, apart from B of A.

Wells Fargo - Rip off bank

Well in April and May 2018 deposits were made threw the ATM and wasn't given the credit in my checking account which total 980 dollars.I called the bank and did a claim but still to this day the monies still isn't accounted for all I get is letter from them saying it's being reviewed it only takes 10 days for them to handle the situation

did i mention since i only had a chance to put in 100 before the transcation closed and not 100.00 the atm techs are claiming i only deposited 1 cent? Yes because i dont have anything better to do than wait on hold all day

Wells Fargo is not out for the people. They are out to corner you in sneaky ways with overdraft fees making billions of dollars per year off hard working people who don't make a whole lot to begin with. Expect atm check deposits to be held with no warning that the funds may not be available for up to a week usually three days so you can at least change your mind and not make the deposit it just says it may or may not put a hold on it and once you deposit the check in you're stuck and hopefully you don't need the funds available right away because Wells Fargo is going to take your hard earned money in overdraft fees for any items you have out that should be covered by that check you just deposited that they decided to hold how convenient. Good job Wells Fargo you sure know how to screw over hard working people. My last personal experience with them holding a check turned out pretty bad. Let's just say overdraft fees!!! And good luck getting those reversed because employees just say in most times a robotic stern way " due to it not being a big error we are unable to reverse the fee.". More like not willing to reverse it. That is left to the managers discretion there is no blockage making it impossible for them to reverse it, they choose not to. Sad thing is I found out my credit union would not have put a hold on it if I deposited it in atm with them. Enjoy my hard earned money Wells Fargo, you greedy heartless company.

First of all I have been a Wells Fargo business account holder for 3 years now and never have I received such horrible service. I am an insurance adjuster and I occasionaly receive checks with bank names, clients name and my business name and I always get all the endorsements. Well, I deposited a check with ALL ENDORSEMENTS and a week later went to draw a cashiers check and the manager of the bank MARIO MENDES of the MIAMI NORTHSIDE STORE was beyond rude to me. When I went to ask for a cashiers check he began to do an audit of my account asking me all sorts of weird questions basically accusing me of fraud because I deposit checks with other peoples name along with my own company name. Needless to say, he was very rude to the point where even the security guard admitted he was rude. I understand having the proper security for your accounts but not at this level, where he makes you feel like a criminal and will not give you your money when it is available in your account!!!! I even told him he was discriminating against me and if he had a personal problem with me. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

To Whom This May Concern, I am looking to do my banking elsewhere due to the rudeness and unprofessional service that was rendered to my wife today while I was at work. It is absolutely unbelievable how poor Wells Fargo Service has become. My wife went thru the drive thru of the Wells Fargo location at 5284 Providence Road, Virginia Beach, Virginia. On many prior occasions, my wife and I both have made deposits via the drive thru without filling out a deposit slips and having the account numbers at our finger tips. This has never been a problem. Today, my wife went thru the drive thru with my two kids in the vehicle and attempted to make deposits. The teller thru the drive thru told my wife that she had to have account numbers and deposit slips in order to do the transactions. My wife asked for someone to help so the teller finally got her manager. The manager seemed to want to fix the problem; however, when it was all said the done, the manager did not solve the problem and cashier's check was never cashed. Even though the manager Tammy Green attempted to help, she did the transaction wrong and refused to fix the problem. My wife was instructed to go in the bank to get these issues resolved. My wife had to park, take the kids out of the vehicle and go inside to get the transaction done. Having entered the store, the teller smirked at my wife and decided she would wait on my wife even though she had failed to help. My wife refused for that teller to help and requested for an experienced teller to help her. to which the teller rudely and arrogantly replied, that she would have her manager help. The manager accused my wife of yelling at the teller and scaring all of the tellers to the point that they did not want to speak with my wife. Also, she had my wife enter her office and proceeded to tell my wife that she was setting a bad example in her bank and that she needed to stop, etc. My wife pointed out to Tammy Green that her teller had smirked and not acted the right way; the manager replied that she would talk to the teller; but obviously, she was more concerned in lecturing my wife than ensuring excellent customer service. After all this, my wife left the store with a cashier's check still uncashed and time wasted. I am absolutely appalled by the service she received and will be switching banks very soon. As a side note, both the manager and teller should be disciplined for their actions. If I were to treat customers that way where I work, I would be fired. JDB

I tried to put deposit through drive through. The store manager told me they only allowed 2 transactions and I have to go into the store. I asked her to do only 2 transactions now. She returned me all other deposit money back but no 2 receipts of the 2 transactions. When I asked the receipts and she was mad. So I canceled 2 transactions and went into the store. There are more that 12 people waiting in the line. Only 3 clerks work there and she was auditing... When I got to the counter and talked to the clerk about filing a complain about her. Her told me that "I do not have to service you since you are rude... I will cancel all your transactions and you have to go to another branch..." It amazed me and she did canceled 2 transactions the other clerk finished. She think she is a store manager and she has the right to do this???? This bank has terrible schedule to convenience their customers. Their costumer service is horrible. When I called their costumer service. It was cut off while I was talking to them. They do need better training and education!!!!
