Wells Fargo - Banking Service Review from Douglasville, Georgia

1.0
Details
March 9, 2016 I stopped at Wells Fargo on Hwy 5 Douglasville Ga I stood in line 5 minutes waiting on one of the two tellers to finish their transaction. Finally after another three minutes I approached the teller line and wad assisted by Peyer Stephens who was so polite and detail after being assisted from Teller Peter I observed while standing n line the drive thru teller having NO VEHCLES coming through her position . She never look back while sitting at the window to possibly help the five to six people behind me waiting to be service. After I finish my banking transaction I approach Mchael the Branch Manager and voice my disappointment of the branch tellers not working together to get the customer out if he branch I even Mention the teller who spoke to me when I entered the bank that was unnecessary and not warranted she could have came behind the counter and help decreAse the line. Michael who I have known since he been at WELLS FARGO because he assisted me at Chapel Hill Branch as a teller. Stayed to me the "Drive THRU TELLER " must sit there so when customers come they can be waited on.... That was just not the correct response to a customer complaining about time management so I ask for Mi hazel Supervisor and he responded I can't give you his telephone number I stated I didn't ask for a number I asked for your supervisor name and he said CHRIS ALLEN Michael stated if I complain maybe he can get some more help which is a TOTAL WASTE especially if he pulls employee from behind the counter to stand out and speak to customers entering the building and then to let your drive thru teller just sits for I was in the bank for 15 minutes doing nothing he don't need NO MORE HELP.... I suggest he even get behind the counter and do some work vs sitting n the office with his door closed. Very anti social..... This is the first time as a customer for eight years since well Fargo took over WAVHOVIA THat I have ever complain but HWY 5 branch need some management observation from upper level badly

Wells Fargo - Teller Very Rude

I went to Wells Fargo in Sugar Land, TX teller was so rude. I have an minor daughter she works for Dairy Queen and since she's a minor I am able to cash her check with my ID. This teller wouldn't cash it he was very rude and kept telling me he was not cashing it oh my goodness I never dealt with a person like him he was rude and very nasty. I have been cashing Skylar check there since October 2015 with no problem. I am so upset and mad. I will never go to another Wells Fargo in my life. Thanks Tracy

Wells Fargo - Banking Service Review from Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania

In exchanging US dollars for foreign currency, the Wells Fargo representatives were not helpful or customer oriented. In fact, the policies were different at 2 branches. As a result, the customer had to go 3 times until the transaction could be completed. There seems to be a lack of consistent knowledge, lack of adequate training , and overall lack of customer courtesy with regard to buying foreign dollars. This goes directly against the customer courtesy policies advertised by Wells Fargo...

Wells Fargo - Terrible customer service never get a studen loan

Details
This bank is not willing to work with a student with a student loan. Interest rates are high and they do not offer any alternatives to re-finance. Simply put they are the worst banking institution. Not just from a student loan perspective, but any type of loan. I am only the co-signer and I would never do any banking with them given the choice! The customer service reps are not there to be helpful, they are rude and disrespectful and behave like nazi's.

Wells Fargo Banking Service Review

WORST BANK EVER!! They love to steal people's money and not return it knowing they originally made the mistake, I had more than 300 dollars in my bank account and from transferring money back and forth (without my consent) they ended up OVERDRAFTING ME! I HATE WELLS FARGO I WILL ALWAYS SAY BAD THINGS ABOUT THEM AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE BANK TO ANYONE.

Wells Fargo - Bad customer service at Hastings MN drive thru

12/2/15 went to drive thru on my lunch break. Only one teller in window. One vehicle ahead of me. Teller carries on conversation with 3 more vehicles before she even attempts to take the tube dangling in front of her. And eat her lunch in plain view of customers waiting. Finally I asked if she got my tube and finally she wakes up and starts waiting on me after I over heard a personal conversation with one of the 3 drivers about a deer in the garage. Let me tell you I am getting inches from pulling every dime out of the Hastings branch. Very bad incompetent service.

Wells Fargo - Unprofessional experience Arizona branch location.

1.0
Details
I authorized a transaction of 2,100.00 to put down a deposit. The transaction was declined due to a 1,500.00 daily limit. Wells Fargo fraud department contacted me regarding the transaction. I requested to be transferred to customer service to raise the limit. After a few minutes, the fraud agent advised I should go into a branch. I requested to speak with customer service due to my work hours conflicting with the branch hours. She said I could call the number on the back to see if they could do it but that I would most likely have to visit a branch. On the same day, I decided to take my lunch break specifically to visit a branch location. Once I got to the branch and requested to change my daily limit, the teller said I needed to call customer service. I told her the fraud department said I needed to do it in person. She asked her manager who then directed me to sit with a banker. Prior to sitting down with the banker, I expressed my shortage on time. Upon sitting with the banker, Leonor Martinez, I explained the situation. The first thing she asked is why I wasn't putting the transaction on my credit card. I responded that I would rather pay with the money I have than get charged interest. She said ok. She then stated she had to speak with a manager regarding the situation. This happened several times with no explanation. She spent more time with the manager than with me. Finally she came back and said they can't do it because my daily average was $500.00. I understood that as most often, I transfer money into my savings account right away. I expressed frustration over not having access to my own money. She said it is to protect Wells Fargo. I asked if there was anything else to do, she only said she was sorry and that I should contact customer service. I told her I was upset and concerned by the inconsistency of the business. Once again she said she was sorry. I stated I don't feel she's genuinely sorry because she was not committed to helping me. She had a blank stare on her face and did not attempt to correct the situation. I contacted customer service who completed the request efficiently. I than asked to speak with someone regarding a complaint against a branch employee. After 11 minutes she transferred me to her supervisor. About 2 minutes into the call, the call was disconnected while I was speaking. I expected a call back but was never given one. In summary: I experienced extreme dissatisfaction with branch employees, mainly Leonor Martinez, and the call center. I was also upset Leonor was trying to upsell me on the credit card when I had clearly expressed my rush. The professionalism I experienced today is unlike I've ever received in my many years of banking. However, it is enough to consider closing all my accounts. Which is unfortunate considering I was speaking to the mortgage department regarding my first house.

My issue seems small comparatively-BUT I am sick to death of customer service hospitality-- when I go to the bank I am in a hurry and just need to get my business taken care- I don't have time for or need small talk-how's your day-what are you doing today, did you have...

I agree!!! This new form of the over friendly interaction is not better customer service.

It feels forced and intrusive. But it is now Wells Fargo's mandate for their employees. If only WF would put this energy into real customer service. Things like no more nickel and dime tactics with their fees, not using predatory loan tactics, and changing their amoral big corporation tactics.

Customer service should feel like the person is valued and recognized as an intricate piece of the company's success. That is how my bank treated me before Wells Fargo bought them.

OMG do I miss that bank.
