This bank is one of the useless banks I've ever seen! They'll lure you to make a deposit, and after that your money gets stuck, and closed the account. I got a 123k deposit from friends for a business purpose. Prior to this deposit, I contacted WF to tell them that I'm expecting the above account, they said it's ok. I have been a Wells Fargo customers for the past 27 years as a mortgage holder and several bank account personal and business. After paying down my mortgage to a balance of $3408.00. Each year I call WF to send my 1098, so I can file my taxes. And every year they say they sent it...WRONG! They play this cat and mouse game....afraid they have to spend a few cents to mail the form. I know they're trying to train us "oldies" to use their website, but it's not user friendly, and I am only asking for what is due me by Federal law, my 1098. My company has been trying to obtain a lien release for 10 months on an old loan that should have been released. We have supplied all the documentation necessary and yet still no lien release provided. Customer Service Reps never answer their phones nor do they return phone calls. Their agent informed me that I had to close my checking account because of their re-organizing of accounts and move it to a new account at the same bank. What I didn't know was that my personal account had a required minimum balance of $50,000 (!) Since there had been no activity, I hadn't looked at my statement for three months, and when I did finally look, found that I had been charged $180 for being below their minimum. They don't allow you to deposit coins unless they are rolled, what a scandalous practice. They should allow you to have them sent to their HQ for processing.

Wells Fargo must test their customer service reps to ensure they have no integrity and that they are complete morons, because I talked to 8 different reps tonight and every one of them gave me a different story and were incapable of doing anything to help. showed up at 10:45 am today 4/1/15 an agent ask another one to help me when he saw me. The other agent said nope he was going to lunch. He came back at 11:10 so I waited more than 25 minutes and still no help. When the guy came back with his coffee saw me and totally ignored me. I know that now a days it is easy for people to copy or get your ATM card and number, steal you identity and scam you out of your hard earned money. The criminal who accomplishes the above takes back seat to how you are treated by your financial institutions who are supposed to help and secure your money. Wells Fargo charged me $105 in over draft fees on my STUDENT ACCOUNT!!!!!!!! I found out when I walked in to the branch to cash a check. I couldn't dispute the charges in person, so I had to call wells fargo's main number. They did a one time "favor" and retracted $35 and after much arguing said they will reimburse half of another fee, saying that is all the "system" will allow them to do.
