About 6 months ago we purchased some furniture from a store and applied for a deferred interest plan. When the first bill came we paid half of it off right away.

I started to make double the payment amount and at the end of last month I realized I didn't receive a statement. We called and was told it was sent out and unless I went to a Wells Fargo office to pay in person or give them the info to my banking account there would be a late fee. Today,the same day we received a statement we receive a call from them wanting payment and didn't care if they sent a bill last month.They did however tells they had a address change to send payments. I said screw you,not to them and I paid the account off.

Nothing like scamming people for a late fee charge. Something tells me this practice will be on CNN soon.
