After applying for a home equity line of credit I was counter offered $10,000 less than the $50,000. Line I requested.
My home currently has a market value greater than $900k and my mortgage balance is less than $350k. Good equity position right? Not according to this bank. They wouldn’t approve my request for $50k and then to add insult to injury proceeded to argue and insult me over the telephone after being a loyal customer for the past 15 years.
I’ve heard horror stories about the poor customer service Wells Fargo has provided to others in the past, just never gave it much thought. I am done with this bank! There are plenty of other banks out there who actually respect their customers and that’s where I’m taking my business.
One more customer lost Wells Fargo! You truly are horrible when it comes to customer service!
