I was attempting to place an order with a company I have done business with before. The transaction kept failing and I finally had to use a different credit card so the sale would go through.
I found out later that the fraud dept had blocked my card because the merchant I was dealing with is on their list of companies where internet fraud frequently occurs.
So WF saved themselves from possible fraud by blocking my card. Problem is that I lost out on the "Rewards" for a $2,000 purchase and they won't do anything to compensate me for that loss - or for the embarrassment of having my credit card declined!
