Got Screwed By Wells Fargo

Someone opened a credit card account in my name at this bank. It messed up my credit, and the bank couldn't care less. The middle initial was incorrect, the signature electronically signed in front of the bank employee was fake as could be. The bank never once contacted me about the account until I called them after seeing it on my credit report. It's been a real pain to deal with. Just a real rotten bank. So corrupt.

Deranged employee

I have contacted the bank several times over this deranged employee she is using high tech phone system pv4-6 thu-Sprint that now is T Moblis cell phones i have notified both and with no solution.she controls phone notifications puts child locks for controlling reasons she listen to all my cellphone calls and knows when scheduled appointment ,and knows my location at all times.

Pissed off customer, employees are the worst

Hi, Im emailing today about complaints Ive had at one of your banks. It is located at 470 Rahway Ave, Elizabeth NJ. On Wednesday 2/10/21 I was outside standing in line for more then 15 minutes to use the atm machine, all while it is freezing in NJ with degrees of 20 or lower. So as I was waiting a manger ( women) comes up to me and say ohh I have to wait at the corner until she opens up and was refusing me to use the atm machines after I have already been waiting for so long. (Mind you all this is happening before 0830am and the bank opens at 0900am. So the banks hasnt even been open no one inside and i was not being allowed to use the atm. She was a Hispanic women, light blonde and brown hair and a little on the heavier side. She was not allowing me to use the atm which I have already been waiting for. Then once I got annoyed and walked away another Hispanic male employee is staring at me as a get into my car and drive off he confines to stare at me, I confronted him and asked why he was staring at me and could not give me a reason. Hispanic male about 58 tall with black hair. This is the closes Wells Fargo bank to my home, I need this fix with those two employees because it is ridiculous that I was waiting for an atm and the manger was not allowing me to use and then I have some else just staring at me for no reason. If this is not fix me and my family will be closing our Wells Fargo accounts and be changing to a different bank. How could those two work somewhere were is controlling your money and I couldnt even be allowed to get money out. Ridiculous that I had to wait and waste so much of my time to get my own money out the bank and couldnt even be allowed to use it. I need this rectified or you will be losing customers

It serves you right to use one of the four monster mega banks. Get an account at a local community bank or better yet, a credit union.

False advertisement

company offers 12 months no pay no interest. Not True! they charge monthly interest and late charges. how can this be, if there are no payments due and no interest if paid before end of promotion. they are stealing from the customers. customer service and supervisors are rude, condescending and useless.

"puts holds on funds on money" No, it's because YOU ARE spending money DO NOT have in your account at the time. Bank101- You can't spend "pending" cash.

You can not spend money until it ACTUALLY posts to your account. Any idiot knows this. It's not that hard.

Once again, until a hold has cleared and the money has posted, you CAN NOT spend it. If you do, you'll rack NSF fees and will eventually have your bank account closed.

Grieving and tired of the runaround

Went to a Wells Fargo first week in September with death of my son in Huntersville NC. No list of information given to transfer funds to his estate. No information given to close his three business accounts. Only verbally told bring back the court document showing I am the executor. Different business banker bring back document saying you are in a position to handle account brought, etc. Now still in limbo

User's recommendation: Make sure company provide info on whatcto do if a small bus owner becomes deceased.

Unprofessional

Wells Fargo as of January 22, 2021, does not offer their customer specific information on what they require to close a deacessed customers business account. This causes a lot of stress to anyone trying to get specifics on how to close a sole proprietors account. It hinders a smooth business transaction. It caused stress to deceased families. It causes the business rep in bank to provide inconsistent information to others. It causes their back office to hide behind the front office without professionally assisting. It causes delay in business transactions. It causes fees. It causes me not to want to continue doing business with them.

User's recommendation: Make sure Wells Fargo give list of details for small business owners information if they become deceased on the procedures to close accounts.

Wells Fargo told me to get a secure card for a year I had it for more than a year and they would give me a regular credit card under my business they lied they said they couldnt give it to me so I cancel it I will cancel my account with Wells Fargo to
