Im beyond livid. I called Wells Fargo on Friday June 3rd to let them know my car financial company had made a mistake and was taking a double payment out for my car payment and not the regular singular payment.
The financial company couldnt fix it because it was processing not pending and told me I would need to contact the bank. It took three hours and multiple different agents for Wells Fargo to come up with a solution. They told me they could place a stop payment but they would charge me for the stop payment. This morning I got a message that my account had reached a zero balance or below and looked at my account.
My rent came out, the double payment of the car loan came out and no stop payment was shown. No one at this financial institution knows what they are doing apparently and now its going to take 10 days for my account to be corrected. So in the meantime I have a -433.07 on my checking account.
This needs to be corrected right away. Delores that I spoke to this morning seems to be the only one who knows how to do anything correctly.
User's recommendation: Use a different bank.
Monetary Loss: $433.
Preferred solution: Correct the mistake and replace the money and it not take 10-15 to Correct, and an apology for your mistake. .
Wells Fargo Cons: Wouldnt answer my questions, Very hard to get ahold of someone to talk to, Escalation department, Terrible - unprofessional, Unethical.
