I am a Retired Black and Decker employee trying to inform Wells Fargo of a change of email address. Please send instructions on how to accomplish this. Heaven forbid that I should ever have to contact WF in the event of an emergency. Thank you for your help. YOU took out a loan promising to make the payments. YOU didn't make the payments did you?

Then you wonder WHY the truck was taken?

Notice I didn't say YOUR truck because it's NOT your truck UNTIL YOU FINISH MAKING THE PAYMENTS. So, are you *** or just too lazy to get a second job to make your payments on time?

Wells Fargo SBA, not working for America

I have been trying to get a SBA loan from Wells Fargo, and for 6 weeks I have been playing phone tag. It seems that they just don't want to lend money to American citizens to help them obtain the American Dream. One of the first questions I was asked was, "What country was I born in"?, so I answered USA. The guy said well I don't think we can do anything for you at this time, try another department. So I have tried all the SBA departments at Wells Fargo and well still waiting for a call back. I have sent emails about what I am looking for, and have noticed within the last week, they have taken email contact off their website. Now the only way to contact them is an 800 number that is has so much static on the line, you can't hear the prompts. I have tried all the other banks and apparently Wells Fargo is the only one who is doing SBA loans. So I don't know what else to do now.

I hope you have realized by now that you will never get the SBA or Wells Fargo to help you. We were able to get a SBA loan through Wells Fargo, (which was very small) and you become just a number to them.

We are now a $30mil business and the SBA has been absolutely worthless in helping us advance in business. Please do not become an 8(a) company then the SBA are just compliance officers. They are stone faced and monotone when asking for advise but if they think you are out of compliance they jump into action with such tenacity and love to throw out threats. They deliberately have held 8(a) contract offers from us for absolutely no reason.

I had to get a small business representative from another agency to help me when that didn't work, one of the directors had to get involved.

Keep doing what you are doing. We achieved the American Dream on our own, without the SBA or Wells Fargo!!!

Harassment of A College Student

I am a 22-year-old full time college student who decided to bank at Wells Fargo due to family ties. For any parents or fellow college students reading this you are probably all to familiar with how expensive it is to fund higher education. I attained a credit card, debit/savings account and personal loan through Wells Fargo on my path to graduating college. These past few months have been hellish thanks in large parts to the many mistakes made on Wells Fargo's end that have landed ME in hot water. Finances became difficult for me after leaving my job, to take care of my father who suffers from Parkisons Disease. Wells Fargo was taking automatic payments from my account towards my personal loan (which was fine up until monthly income became an issue). I called several times and physically went in to the branch a hand full of times asking to shut off automatic payment, to no avail, after numerous overdraft fees I was negative in my account with NO money available and now in-debt with this bank. It took sitting down with the branch manager to try and remedy the situation and try to attain what money I had, had left in my account in order to pay for gas, food and college related expenses. This was all due to me wanting to shut off automatic payments in order to manually pay every month. NO LUCK. At the time of sitting down with the inept branch manager I (wisely) asked to close my account, the branch manager professionally informed my significant other and I that, "since your relationship is over with us you can leave. We refused and I was, after two hours or so, assured that the account had been closed and automatic payments were done. NO LUCK. Shortly after this umpteenth time being in the branch I began receiving hourly calls from Des Moines, IW asking me for payment as they were still pulling money from AN ACCOUNT I HAD BEEN TOLD (BOTH VERBALLY AND IN PAPER) HAD BEEN CLOSED. A month or so later I was preparing to leave for a study abroad program and went in to a branch in order to pre-pay my monthly loan so as to be able to have peace of mind while bettering my education/future job opportunity abroad. Sitting in the branch my significant other (a Business Finance Major) and I were told directly that not only was I brought up to date on my loan payment but had a positive amount of money in my account; I put down $200 dollars to cover up until the month of July and left for Europe thinking all was well. FLASH FORWARD to Germany where I began receiving international calls from Des Moines, IW (home of Wells Fargo's debt collectors) asking for payment on my loan. I was in a branch yesterday after getting back to the US from my trip a couple weeks ago only to find that the money my father had put down towards my account in order to get Wells Fargo to leave me alone (given the stress they have been implementing in to my already full time student life) had been put in to my SHUT OFF account. Long story short (as this could go on for +1,000 Word count) Wells Fargo is all about the shake down, any time there has been a problem it has been on their side. I went in yesterday and gave them my US tax return to pay the loan amount plus a paid forward on my principle and this morning... DES MOINE IOWA is calling me to ask for money, when I calmly informed the employee I had been in yesterday he rebutted with, "our system can take up to a week to register!" ALL IN ALL, Wells Fargo is frustrating; erroneous fees, lack of empathy or care for their customers and mishandling of peoples' money ... they are all about their own well being.

This Bank reported one million in assets using my SS#

I received an inheritance from my parents in 2007. I invested it in this bank. In June of 2007, it disappeared and the amount was reported to the IRS as being received by myself, leaving me with no recourse to fight back. I was not even able to acquire the accounting to prove Wells wrong doing, they refused, despite a court order. I will go to prison for tax evasion because I can't even afford an accountant. I had one-million dollars and know I am homeless. The comments this bank states about it's services is deceptive! They are professional ripoffs. Pat Bowman

Unfair Over-draft fees

I've had a checking account with them for over six years. It has always been free. Last year at some point they started charging me a monthly service fee. When I asked to return to the old account, they changed my account to one with a higher fee. They also told me they were setting up over draft protection in the form of a back up savings account. Then without my knowledge, set up monthly automated transfers. When the transfer occurs and there are not enough funds they hit you with an overdraft fee which UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES can be reimbursed. Customer service is nill, even supervisors are rude and unhelpful

The worst banking experience ever...Wells Fargo Sucks!!!!!

I went to south orange branch of Wells Fargo. I had the worst experience there...They are nice on the surface but they really are liars. Anything they say they will do...all lies. Their store manager, Victor Reinoso, provides the worst customer service, very disrespectful, unprofessional, and dishonest. Not really sure if they actually care for their customers or not but this has been a second experience with Wells Fargo. I was disappointed both times, especially now. How are they allowed in business, operating with lies. How can we trust them with our money. It's very hard to trust these people. I had to close out my account. Please avoid Wells Fargo.

3 strikes

Bill Pay Strikes again... I have been a customer of Wells Fargo for 20 years now.. Bill pay about 15 years. Will prob. leave Fargo now and spread the word. 1.) Bill pay last year changed their memo fields to plain text only. Now you can NOT use symbols like % or $ signs in your memos.. Seriously? A limitation like that in Financial notes? *** corp decision. Was bothered by this but stayed on.. 2.) I used to use the Address field in Bill pay payees to call my Creditors/Payees. Now 7/28/2013 they removed the view for the address AND PHONE NUMBERS for your payees. It just says Address on file with no options to view the info. I'm not in a Finance career but this seems like a BAD Corp Decision. WHAT THE @#%!^^ you idiots :upset :( Why stay with Fargo now? Used to be fine with them as a bank, but that's it (Now that's changed). After a customer for so many years & have 750 + credit rating and they still offer *** (High) interest rates No thanks. Sincerely, Used to be Custome

Home refi scam

We started the home refi process in October. Paid for the home appraisal in November. Every other week we had to send in the same paperwork over and over.. Finally comes February, Stacie McConnell said, believe me we will have you sitting at the table in 10 days. 10 day came and went. Many calls and emails and received no reply. Finally, in April, we receive a call. Your appraisal has lapsed, you need another one. We get it, it is now 18,000 lower than the first. However we will still be getting money back. Then we receive a letter in the mail that we are now denied because we do not have enough equity. Called the consumer complaints department. Spoke to someone named Nick. Said there was nothing he could do. Told him I was calling back with my husband because my husband is more familiar with all of the refinance mumbo jumbo. Long and short, we locked in at a great rate, and since rates went up, they are trying to get out of it. We have called numberous times, and now no one will answer our calls. This is not the end. We have an appointment with a lawyer, we have all our paperwork, and there is no reason to deny us, and we should get the original rate we locked into. We are stopping at nothing. Wells Fargo is a fraud, if they do not finish what they set out to do, there will be reprocussions. My brother who is a lawyer looked at all the paperwork and agreed that they definitely dont want to give us the low rate, and there excuse is weak and wrong. Also, home prices are going up and since wells fargo paid for the second home refi, we got a decrease in the value of our home. There is no way our home decreased 18,000 in 6 months, the prices are actually going up. So as we see it, we either get the original rate, or we get reimbursed for the decrease in money of the appraisal and the money we put out for the original appraisal.

Rude Phone Calls from Wells Fargo

Wells Fargo Mortgage continuously harasses me on my cell phone asking me to refinance my home loan. I have told them very nicely that I was not interested and even had to explain to a few in details why I was not interested but they continue to call and is rude by making comments like "so I guess you don't want a lower interest rate and you rather pay more" in a sarcastic way. I have only 7 yrs. to pay off my loan and if I refinance I would have to pay a lot more at the end of the loan term and pay mostly interest again in the beginning years of the loan as well so why would I be bullied into refinancing my home loan? I feel that they are trying to cheat me of my hard earned money.

Most Unprofessional Institution

Wells Fargo Home Mortgage is by far the worst financial lending institution I have ever encountered. They consistently blamed other people during the mortgage process and told lie after lie for months. In the end, they rejected my mortgage because they do not understand what a q-farm designation is. However, for months they led me on and constantly told me to get this "last document and you will be fine" or "this is the only thing we are waiting on" while the whole time they had no intention of approving the loan. Perfect credit, excessive assets, over $50,000 of equity in the house and it still wasn't good enough. They won't allow you to speak with any of the underwriters and managers won't call you back when they promise too. Still awaiting a call back from a manager who said they were going to call that day and that was over a week ago. Plain and simple...they have the worst consultants, horrible communication, no organization, empty promises and sheer incompetents when it comes to doing mortgages. Went to a local bank whom I do not even bank with and got a commitment in 2 weeks with no issues. Wells Fargo is nothing but scammers and the worst mistake I made was referring people to them a long time ago because they feel the same way I do after dealing with them!

Late fees and more

About 2 years we got behind in our mortgage we borrowed money and paid, sent it by post mail with a letter explaining why it was 6 months worth, instead they paid 5 months and applied the rest elsewhere. we always have been paying a little extra every month,so just a couple months ago I was using the land line at home and it rang very rare everyone knows to call the cell anyway it was them saying we were a month behind - we asked for a print out never got it they continue to call the home number even though it is set up 99 per cent of the time for faxes, and yeah all that time almost 2 years worth they have been hitting us with a late fee every month. we shouldn't have to pay all those late fees if they had called the cell in the first place or sent email or by post letting us know we would have taken care of this back then. When we make this payment how are we going to know that it goes where it suppose to -or is this going to blow up again. All together it is about 6k,or 2k mortgage then the supposed 2k behind and then not sure what the late fees add up to.

Consumer

I attempted to make online Paypal charges with my debit card that were declined by Wells Fargo at point of sale. Then overnight the charges were pushed through so Wells Fargo could charge $35 each transaction. My account had sufficient funds to cover the $10 charge in the first place. Other charges were stacked against my balance and the declined debit charges mysteriously were approved to insure windfall in fees for the bank. A total of $140 in fees were assessed for three $5 charges and one $10 charge for a total of $25 in paypal charges. The bank refused to refund the fees and said it was not a bank error!!!!
