Wells Fargo - Opening savings account without my consent

I had a checking account with Wells Fargo, they opened a savings account without my approval and put $25 in the savings account every month from the checking account. I told them I didn't want the savings account. They refused to closed the savings account. When I needed money in checking I had to transfer from the savings account. I closed the account. The people at Wells Fargo were not helpful. The checking account I had had a minimal amount in it and it was ridiculous to transfer money every month from the checking account to savings account. How can they do that, it's got to be illegal.

Wells Fargo - Cashing Review from Asheville, North Carolina

This is the dumbest thing of all time.......I feel like I'm in a reoccurring nightmare.....here I am again in the Wells Fargo as I am every week, I'm a contractor and receive weekly checks which I cash here every week. So the geniuses here have decided that this is the only bank EVER that makes you verify every check cashed (unless you have an account) with a banker. The problem arises that there is no dedicated banker for this function. The bankers are ALWAYS in a meeting with some client. So instead of coming in and cashing a check and leaving, LIKE EVERY OTHER *** BANK IN THE HISTORY OF BANKS, I *** sit here and wait and look *** for 30 TO 45 *** MINUTES every time just to have the check verified, then I have to get onto the regular line which is at best ridiculously slow. *** this place I hope this *** changes

Why would you ever return back? Go to another bank down the road or walmart or a mom and pop store. U keep hiving them more and more money and more of your valuable time....??wondering

Wells Fargo Bank is corrupt!

This Bank is just full of ***! My Husband has a pending wrongful termination suit and Wells Fargo is and has not helped us in any way, shape or form. In 2010, I had to stop working ue to my disability and we applied for a loan modification then. I was collecting a Rent Check from my friends' property while they were living out of state and they were giving me $100.00 for 9 months to collect the rent check at my post office and depositing it into their account. Wells Fargo told me I needed toi provide them a Profit & Loss Statement. Are they kidding me!? I was an Accounting Manager and I know that $900.00 is NOT even enough to report to the IRS! Then, we were approved for a Loan Modification a year later...for 10 minutes. Now, I went through every single hoop and jump Wells Fargo asked me to do, only to be denied because "unemployment $$ doesn't count." Why couldn't they have told me THAT lame excuse when I 1st approached them? I just received a letter from Wells Fargo, asking them to contact them or they will begin Foreclosure proceedures. Go ahead idiots!

Wells Fargo - Drinking the Kool Aid is easier

SOMEONE STOLE 300.00 out of my bank using a fake ATM CARD ON APRIL FIRST. REPORTED THAT DAY. GOT NEW CARDVON THE 4th waited till 12th for claim form was told it takes 10 business days. Called back 17th told their is no claim. Sorry we will mail you the form. Called back 23rd they said their is no claim form. Called fraud department took claim on phone. WF left voicemail to call them back in regards to claim. I was on hold 4hr 17 minutes nothing. Called again 2 hrs hold nothing. 65 minutes to day and nothing . WF=JOKE THE TIME HOLDING IT IS DEAD SILENT. I DONT THINK THEIR CLAIMS NUMBER EVEN WORKS. TAKING MY COMPANIES BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.

This was in sand lake, Orlando, Fl. Deposited cash and also had a question for the banker, Bipin. The worst banker and very impolite. I had a question and i wanted to know what my monthly service charge was for since it never got deducted before. Before i even completed my question he was like "what charge!! Show me!! I don't see anything!! Go ask the manager" seriously?? I'm going to close my account and do not want any services from this bank.

when my sister-in-law died, i asked the wells fargo bank tellers what documents were necessary to close her account. They were polite, but uninformed and told me to contact the branch manager. This man was unhelpful, obnoxious, ignorant and extremely rude. He also did not know what documents were necessary to close the account and gain access to her safety deposit box...told me to get a lawyer! i, too, was a WF customer at this bank for more years than this punk manager had been out of diapers. WAS is the correct word. This man was talking personal business on his phone (hair dressing) while i waited 25 minutes, then he was in a hurry as it was closing time. He did not know what was needed but was unwilling to say so or find out. People die every day.How can he not know what is required? And if he doesn't, why not just say so and offer to find out? What has happened to customer service or just plain politeness or kindness?

Wells Fargo - Cancelled the account due to fraud and can't figure out how to open a new account

Wells Fargo must test their customer service reps to ensure they have no integrity and that they are complete *** because I talked to 8 different reps tonight and every one of them gave me a different story and were incapable of doing anything to help. We called 4 weeks ago to question a charge on my 15 yr old son's debit card. Before we knew it, they cancelled the debit and credited the suspicious charge, telling us the new debit card was on the way. We thought "Wow, for the first time they did something right!" Several weeks pass and the new card never comes, so we called and after 8 reps and two hours on the phone, we get told that requesting a new debit card can only be done in the branch office. Well, we know they are bigger *** at the branch where we bank, so now I'm looking at another 2+ hours to get his replacement debit card. The most inept people working for the most inept company on the planet!

I have tried to help my mother who has lost her husband get her mortgage straight well letter after letter and fax after fax guess what she is still having trouble because your staff says they are here to help her shes even on mortgage assistance with your company and every document from death certificate to her s.security and all other info has been faxed a total of 3-5 times for a company who says they are here to help someone avoid foreclosure you suck lets talk about the “foreclosure” we have mailed and faxed every paper you sent x’s 3 and even with Shirley Gute was assured that my mom would be on a trial mortgage period well guess what your employee did not abide by the agreement she was sopposed to deduct the payment 700.00 on the day my mothers s.security went in the bank guess what – it wasnt done but when I called I was assured that it was ok and was taken care of that was a lie ! So somewhere a payment of 700.00 is floating around did ur employee take it ? Second month same thing so we sent a check and bit was cashed 3rd month same sent another check it was cashed . Oh I almost forgot it says that in order to forclose my mom was going to be notified that was also a lie you were goingnto auction it off and sell without her knowledge it this how you got your company started based on lies sure seems like it. And also in my state this isn’t legal ! I’m not a very educated person but the wonderful world of the web has thought me a lot about what this company does and all the dissatisfied customers you have . Now another letter has come in the mail not saying its a forclosure but we can get help to avoid it well I kinda thought we were well thats what the people that work for you are saying to us well I think you will do anything to lie to someone who’s trying hey I’m sorry my step father died and left no life insurance help with after death expense sorry it was such an inconvenience to you as well where are my manners . Now it also has her as Hud risk so with this I as what are you actuall doing to help aanyone but yourselves where is the actual help for your customers that you promise to your customers ? I will send this to anyone I have to because what your doing isnt right . As a nurse if I didn’t help my patients they would die and I see what mental and emotional abuse this has put on my mother I hope you never have any worries sitting in your nice cozy million dollar home while people who live on s.security are scared of losing theirs I hope you can sleep good at night
