Wells Fargo - Check Cashing Review

I went to the cash a check with Wells Fargo Layton, UT branch on Gentile St like I do every month. A personal banker singled me put and pulled me aside and said he needed to verify my check I was cashing because it may be fraudulent. He made me sit with him at his desk asking me questions about my check. He made me feel like a criminal!! I felt discriminated against!! I will never bank with Wells Fargo again!!!

I called to set up a payment with them for my husband's car. The guy that I talked to was completely rude and treated me like I didn't matter because my name isn't on the loan. I have POA for my hubby and was trying ask where to send that info, but he cut me off and so, I just hung up. I didn't realize that trying to give them their money would be so difficult. In the future, I will never use Wells Fargo again.

A 7 Day Hold on a Business Check! Who Does that anymore?? | Wells Fargo review from Tampa, Florida

I deposited a very established business check in my business account on 5/27. Wells Fargo placed a 7 business day hold on the check and the check cleared the company's account the SAME night. I called Wells Fargo to inform them that I checked with the bank and was told the check cleared the same night it was deposited. I was told by Wells Fargo that they are not allowed to verify funds on an account. WHAT??? So, they are using my money and charging me an over draft fee of $35 every time an authorized draft hit my account. Because it was a business check that I deposited, i never thought they would place a hold on the account. I think this is something for "Channel 8" to investigate. This is crazy and should be illegal!

I bought furniture from bobs *** furniture. Wells fargo charge me the interest without even notify me to give me a chance to pay it.i owe 550 and wanted to pay it but the branch was closed over the weekend.got no help tried all day calling.There practices are unfair and a ripoff I will be contacting the better buisness bureau and my attorney wells fargo is a shady bank like bobs furniture and am closing my account and taking my buisness elsewhere.DO NOT DO BUISNESS WITH BOBS OR WELLS FARGO YOU WILL REGRET IT.

GOT A WELLS FARGO MORTGAGE THEY TALKED ME INTO RE-OPENING MY CLOSED BANK ACCOUNT

THEY TOLD ME NO COSTS TO ME NO FEES! WHEN I REFINANCED MY MORTGAGE THEY NEVER SEND ME ANY NOTICE SAYING I WOULD GET A SERVICE FEE WHEN MY LOAN GOT PAID IN OFF! I CHRARGE A 5 DOLLAR PRKING FEE THOUGH I HAD 7 DOLLARS IN THAT ACCOUNT! THEY CHARGED ME A 13 DOLLAR SERVICE ! THAT WAS MADE THE ACCONT OVERDRAFT THEY THEN CHRGED ME A 35 DOLLAR OVERDRAFT FEE COURSING ME TO OB OVERDRWN ! WENT INTO THE BANK TO LET THEM KNOW THEY SAID THEY COULD NOT HELP ME I PAID THE 52 DOLLARS WITH A DEBIT CARD FROM ANOTHER BANK AND ASK THEM TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT THEY SAID THEY COULD NOT UNTIL MONDAY EVEN THOUGH THE BALLANCE IS NOW 0. THIS BANK IS GREAT AT EXTORTING MONEY!!!

after 50 or so phone calls to wells Fargo i have just received information that they found papers i faxed to them weeks ago,they have reopend my claim witch they closef on 6 -2-2015 and should have a resolution by tomorrow well see

had 280 unauthorized charges started claim in February just got back what i think is some of the money still haven't gotten any statement from bank talked on phone but they only had claims for part dont know why neither do they. its been months hours and hours of leg work now my account is over drawn 7 fee in a row because of a banking holiday my check did not clear on time they refused to do any thing to help except trasfer me repeatedly ,i was told however they would *** $26 bucks 200 plus in over drafts they still owe me money what the *** is going on

Insurance fraud, lies | Wells Fargo review from Spring, Texas

I've been trying to get my loan modified since March, 2013. I have several physical and mental issues due to circumstances beyond my control. Damon Bridges was my first Home Preservation Specialist. Just like the majority of the others on here I continued to send in documents and start over countless times. This year January, 2015, I decided I would hit it hard because I've checked the guidelines and easily met the criteria except for income. As I have been getting help from a friend or two throughout my loan and it was heavily dependent on my child support when I got it in 2007. Another slap to my face was the supervisor I talked to told me she would get me a different specialist last week on Wednesday that should call me Thursday. I called Friday and one wasn't assigned yet. I probably need to paste the letter I drafted to the Attorney General since this is a very short review of how they were screwing me. I also checked into refinancing with another company and was approved in 2014. By golly if they didn't jack my insurance and replace it with insurance using the term "Wells Fargo Insurance Inc." They pulled my escrow out while my other policy was still in effect and paid. They came into my back yard, as my carrier, and sent me a letter saying they would cancel my insurance if I didn't fix my gutters. They created a shortage in my escrow. I recognized that this was not my carrier and immediately called. They denied that saying it must have been my HOA. They issued the money back for the policy to me because they knew they screwed up and since I have had money problems, I paid bills. When my insurance came due, of course they "loaned" me the money to keep it. Again January, I felt I should be able to do it again and Damon Bridges told me I was eligible for a "No Document Review". I would have to be in default and worse, he led me to believe they were just waiting for guidelines to be met. I have recordings of Damon as well as supervisors telling lie after lie. He even told me to "disregard the papers that are automatically generated, even if they have my signature on them, because I know what's going on." I will probably get a you tube account and make an audio of events so others can learn from my mistakes. Right now, all I can do is complain and write every institution I can think of such as the Attorney General, Department of Insurance, Congressmen, Senators, etc. I will get to that. I filed CHAPTER 13 bankrupt on Tuesday evening and I think it was filed with the court early on Wednesday. I thought I would check on it through WF and what a turn around...they just approved my modification (not really) because my rate would be the same and I would have 10 years added to my loan. My payment would go back to what I started with in 2007. By the way, someone tried to serve me after "You were approved for modification twenty minutes ago. Congratulations. Would you like to accept that offer now?" *** no. I'm tired of doing business with the devil.

Wells Fargo is a crooked bank. They make mistakes on purpose to charge you overdraft fees. Their system slows down so that you can't catch things in time to avoid overdrafts. It's happened to me many times. They change things on purpose to make money at your expense. I detest Wells Fargo and am changing banks NOW! Their system went down this morning and my dad was charged unnessesary charges for THEIR system fail, and they will NOT reeimburse him even though it is THEIR mistake!!!!! Get out while you still have money in your account or they'll eat you alive!!!! I am SO upset right now!
