Don't use that ATM!

I'm not a member of Wells Fargo, but there is a wells fargo ATM machine in the parking lot of a store nearby. I was in a pinch and needed to get some cash the other night. Put my card in the machine and asked for 40$. The machine spit out an error saying "something went wrong. Cannot return card." Then to my suprise, it didn't go out of order. Just ready for the next person. I went home and checked and it had charged me the 40 plus its ridiculous atm fee, but I hadn't gotten any money. I called their Representative who said there was nothing he could do and I would have to take it up with my bank. A few months later and I finnally got the 40$ back but had to pay the fee for my card to be stolen. Also Wells Fargo still says it cannot find the card. Don't ever use an atm that takes your card.

More than 7 month since first day i use your wells fargo today i went wells fargo at 4 pm. which is on andrews avenu Fort Lauderdale i need to get $5000 cash and give my driver licence and put my depit card pin everthing was okay and last time i got $4000 from same lady they know me then another guy came some question i answer then another lady they say we need you passpord i said if you need it why you did in tell me earler or last time.i have been wait like 15 minutes i feel bad they are very amateur and racial specially manager it was all about nationality.

Bad customer service

I have had the worst customer no-service experience ever from CSR Crystal employee id 73040 on Aug 21, 2015 at approx 7:00 pm. She was very argumentative and wanted to talk over me every time I tried to form a sentence, she did not want to listen to the problem about the fraud that Wells Fargo contacted me about.

When Wellsfargo contacted me about fraudulent activity that was going on on my account it prompt me to check my transactions and I found more fraudulent transactions and reported it to the fraud department. after a few days I received a email from Wellsfargo telling me claim was complete, when I called I was told well we did not find any fraudulent transactions your on your own. I WAS CONTACTED BY YOUR "FRAUD" DEPARTMENT MAKING MY AWARE OF A BREECH OF MY ACCOUNT WOW!

And now i'm being told your own your own., Well lesson learned I am transferring my direct deposit to another bank who will value me and protect my assets. take heed and find a new bank!!!

Ppl dont believe it till it happens to them. Believe me it did.

Its called opportunity checking. That they give to those that dont quality for regular checking. Its so not a good idea. I was always overdrawn.

More late fees.

Then I figured it out. If you drop the socalled overdraft/savings account that they say u must attach to it you will be good.

i tried to cash a check today at wells fargo in stroudsburg,pa.and the teller was very nasty,i asked what was taking so long and she stated she was comparing signatures and they didnt match,THATS RIDICULOUS,my mother wrote me the check in the end they didnt cash my check,i asked for the manager and she was nastier than the teller i got no help.i told teller to call my mom she claimed she didnt get in contact with my mom i told her it was new telephone number but she didnt want to hear that she could only go by the number on file,which was changed i told the teller if i can have the number to the bank for my mother to call and she said she couldnt call there.

Like everyone said they are rude and lazy incompetent and poor customer service interaction and they talk like they just got out of bed. I say -10 for Wells Fargo they should fire those lazy workers they have coz they don't deserve the pay check they are getting. To bad so sad. We have had all our banking business with Wells Fargo for about 5 years now. Small business, personal, savings, two teen checking accounts and their savings and our home mortgage.

Never had a problem until a recent customer of ours bounces a check of over $15,000. It sucks and we have had to fight to get this corrected through legal litigation. But what is worse is the bank (loss prevention) not only froze all of our personal accounts, they took every penny, even the money belonging to our kids. But they have no problem taking the money that has been automatically been paying my kids from their jobs and not releasing their money.

What does our personal checking have anything to do with the business checking? Especially our kids' money?

I just got off the phone with them. They stated that they are sending a check with all of our personal banking funds.

I certainly hope so. I recorded the call so at least I have them recorded stating that this what they are doing.

It just doesn't seem right that all personal accounts are effected by a customer who wrote me a bad check. We did nothing wrong and are whole family gets punished.

Zero interest rip-off

I bought a woodstove in August from Northern tool and I was suppose to receive zero interest for twelve months. After several calls to WF bank I was told a case would be opened, but it could take sixty days and if it not resolved in my favor or resolved in my favor I will not be reimbursed for any interest I pay. This happened in February when I purchased a tool for four hundred dollars and I just paid it off. If I am going to cut my credit card u and send it with my next payment. Your bank is despicable to deal with. I have 825 credit rate, so I'm not a looser.

Wells Fargo Crooked

I couldn't have a regular checking with Wells Fargo in NC. So they "generously" gave me what they call opportunity checking account. So at first I'm grateful. Till I continuously am over drawn EVERY month for at least 2 months in a row. So naturally now am super careful watching every $ so I dont have to pay any late fees. Checking everyday my purchases. Howbout I check and my account has a false add back amt. in the account. So I investigate. Calling my cell fone carrier to make sure that when it time my fone is paid ahead of time. I have the confirmation sent to me and it is confirmed also by the representative that everthing is in order. Wells fargo gives this type of account to ppl who have had difficulty in the past only to put the $ back into the account so that I can continue to be overdrawn. How do you explain that I got down to $9, bill is paid then 2 to 3 days later my account magically has $66 in it? I believe that Wells Fargo wanted me to believe that I have more $ than what is actually there so that I can continue to swipe and pay late fees. Not gonna happen. Sorry. Im finally on to them. What happened is they paid then bill then put the cash back. Really? Must have thought that no one was payimg attention. Getting rid of this account as soon as possible,

What good is to have the "overdraft protection" if they charge you to move money from one of your own accounts to the other one. My old banks would never do that, if I could I would go back to them. Looking for different banks now.

Refund issue

The beginning of the year I purchased two health insurance policies for my children. I used my wells fargo debit card to make the first premium (arround $200 ea). Before my policy started I decided not to go with the insurance and had them cancel the policy. During this time my debit card had fraud issues and I was forced to be sent a new card/number. After going around and around with the insurance company I was finally refunded one of the policies a few months later. Even though the debit card had been closed the refund was made right away with no issues. Again after going back and forth with insurance company a few weeks ago I was sent an email stating that the 2nd policy refund would be processed that day. So here it is now no refund has been processed to my account. Today I contacted a Wells Fargo banker and explained the situation. With no real explination as to what what happening, I was given a claim number and transfered to their claims department. Again, I explained to this claims person the situation. He placed me on hold for about 5 minutes, after he said he had to research the complete debit card number that the purchase had be placed on. After already thinking he was not a friendly person, he came back on the line stating he found the card number and asked very rudely and intrusively why did it take so long to get a refund and what was this purchase for. I had to explain to him this, which really didn't seem to have to matter as to what the issue was. Then he asked after a 2nd time of me already telling him, what the day of refund was supposed to be. Seeming not to understand why I was calling, I cut him off stating that the reason I believe this is not being refunded is because this debit card had been closed awhile back. He stated that I would need to ask the insurance company to send a check to me instead of refunding it back to my debit card. I explained that I had spoken with the insurance company and they had told me that the refund had already been completed and can only issue refunds back to original payment and that my bank would need to either send me a check or accept the refund to my account. He then went into a law, which I completely understand if this is the law, I need to wait 15 days and if refund is not completed I could contact them back. He stated that the claim would be denied today and closed. After the 15 days I can call them back and reopen the claim. I think I could have taken all of this in better, if and only if I was not given the run around with this claims rep and he was more understanding of the situation.

Be careful when opening a bank account at Wells Fargo. I was continually harassed to open an account. I finally did and now I can't deposit cash at an ATM, but I can withdraw. This makes no sense. I do have checks and a Savings account so its better than a prepaid card but what sense does that make. You can only deposit money inside a branch. What if there is an emergency and you can't make it to a branch I think this is so *** I rather put the money under my mattress and take my changes very controlling

Preferred solution: Allow me to deposit cash at ATM so I can pay my bills, I am not able to deposit inside the branch. I use this accounts for my bills. I deal with cash and not Direct Deposit for all my income so I am unable to go inside a branch every time

Checked my account today online and found had negative balance was charged 14 dollars for monthly fee as didnt have direct deposit anymore or qualified deposit went in to local branch was told fee on both checking accounts qualify for and have to figure out how get my IRS deducts switch to my new account as Banker could care less about my issue also have credit card with them too they charged me 80 dollars interest this month and been loyal customer 20 years and they dont want keep me business could care less so glad switched Banks so pissed I work very hard for my money to just have give to these jerks who could care less about me

I hate this bank! I am a business account holder. I usually maintain a high balance and come in weekly to make international wires which they charge me $50 per transaction. Recently, after giving birth to an ill child I fell ill and into a deep depression. I was unable to work and grow my business for about a yr. Because of my loss of income and auto charges set up on my account. I had experienced many overdraft fees. Total fees collected from this month alone was exactly $1295 this bank has collected from me. I have been trying to recoup at lease SOME of my fees back and have been given the run arounds. I even went into this branch because the online reps said that only a bank manager could help me. I spoke with manager Jason pouring out my heart and nearly in tears. He reversed exactly $0 in fees and basically said screw me. I have been going through *** and nobody at this bank seems to care at all. However in the past with my higher balances I would come in the branch and I will get all smiles and from the reps there when they see your high balance. They start offering additional services and asking you if you want to open a merchant account. They treat you like pure gold when you have money. BUT when you don't they treat you like NOTHING! I will be closing all my accounts and moving on. DO NOT open an account with this bank! They auto set some kind of setting that allows transactions to post even if your account is negative so they can exploit you with fees. Once the fee accumulates, they count their dollars and won't help you at all. They don't care about their customer at all unless you have money.

Incompetence, deception and lies

I was informed by Wells fargo that I was qualified for refinancing my home that was finance by them ( Wells Fargo). after they requested a home appraisal and send an appraisal person, I was charge for the cost of the appraisal.

I have more than 28% equity on my home, I never was late on my payment as they are taken from my checking account every month, but they refused to refinance, the reason was that, I do not qualified because I Own another home that was free and clear from any mortgage. The truth is that Wells Fargo is a predator of the peoples money, they are after people that can not pay for their loans to take their home from them. I have enough with Wells Fargo, I will close my accounts. Today Iam selling one of my homes so I can pay off Wells Fargo.

If you are interest in buying it; here is the Address. 3406 Maitland San Antonio, Texas 78258. When I sale this home I will pay Wells Fargo in single Dollar bills so these SOBS can expend some time in labor.
