Conducting business in the bank in Camarillo, CA:

As I EXPLAINED to the teller that I COULD N-O-T keep my mask due to my exemption, I was REMINDED by the teller MORE THAN ONCE, to '...wear my mask'! What is it that they DON'T UNDERSTAND?

Terrible costumer service

I needed to report my cards as stolen and I kept getting put on hold, was given confusing answers and was extremely hard to get to an representative

Rude Customer Service Representative

I called to report fraud on my account. English is my second language, so I asked the representative to please repeat the information she was providing. She seemed impatient with my questions. I even told her to take it easy and not lose her patience. Her tone became annoyed instantly. She sped through the rest of the call and didn't even give me a chance to ask for her name before she transferred me to the claims department. I was stunned at her impatient, unprofessional and unnecessary bad attitude. I wouldn't want her to get fired; she just needs to learn some phone etiquette and understand cultural humility.

User's recommendation: Ask for customer representative information as soon as call starts just in case.

Possible scam calls

I have received two calls from your bank, saying I can lower my debt ratio. Your number comes up on caller I.D. When I call it back, it says Thank you for calling Wells Fargo Bank. I am not a Wells Fargo customer. In fact, there is no bank here in this area by that name. If this is your bank. Please remove me from your call list.

Wells Fargo decrease my availble credit from $10,000 to $900

I applied for credit from Wells Fargo in 2015 when I bought my House and got a $10,000 credit limited that's how I furnished my new Home. I have never missed a payment with Wells Fargo when the balance got below $800 and I experience a little problem with my other bills, not with Wells Fargo. Wells Fargo random check people credit without their consent. They sent me out a letter talking about my current account with them. I called the number 1-80*-***-**** and I also have a mortgage with them. As soon as I can I'm going to refinance my Home and get from under Wells Fargo business.

They are obviously re-evaluating your credit limits which is now common. If you don't use their card much, they will now lower the limit.

If you owe alot on other cards, they will lower your limit.

Your credit score is probably not as high as you think. They lower your limit based on that, also.

Closed account

My account through Wells Fargo was closed because I had not used it in 18 months. Because of COVID - 19 I was not able to use it to have my roof done. It had only been 2 days since the card would canceled I talked to 1 person 1st then a manager. They said no excuses doesn't matter , re file for a new loan , which would affect my credit score. They would not re open my account even though COVID-19 is what kept me from using my card for my roofing..I am extremely unhappy. I do not think this is right. I also think the government should not allow financial institutions to close accounts during this time because of in activity. It's pretty hard to get a contractor to your home personally , in Washington State, until they opened it up.. then my contractor was very busy to begin with. He could not fit me in until now, This is unfair practice's due to the pandemic.No

"I had not used it in 18 months" Fool, you said you didn't use the account for a year and a half. Stop trying to blame something that's only been a thing for 4 months.

How did a virus keep you from using a card? Oh, and BTW, banks can shut you down at will. The funny thing about it is YOU AGREED to this when you signed up.

Let me guess, you didn't bother to READ & UNDERSTAND the terms YOU agreed to. Let's hear it, "you must work for them."

Wells Fargo must have determined that it's cheaper to try to attract new customers instead of retaining long standing customers.

Ripped off

I wont say how much is in my acct., but I got a new debit card.cause my other one was compromised and they shut my acct down. I'm not allowed any money and I'm disabled. I have thousands in there and.cant touch a penny

Morgage with WF

So I got mortgage with WF. My checking account is with WF. I want the WF to set up recurring payments from my account. They are refusing to do. I imagine they want the payments to be missed so they can charge me penalty of $120 per late payments. WTF. If you do not have business with WF and are considering -- my advice is RUN and save your soul.

Blocked account from opening

This bank artificially created phony accounts to gin up their numbers a couple of years ago, yet they reject legitimate customers with real cash deposits. Do not bother trying to open an account with this bank, they'll reject you and hold your money. Pathetic!

I had a business account with this bank for years. With no issues. Teller Jasmine Akins opened an online account to my business account which she was not authorized nor on the account. She had been transferring my funds to her personal account. When I became aware I brought it to the attention of her supervisors at the Madison fl branch of Wells Fargo. They said they would handle this matter. They asked me to come in and change my online account password. I told them I didn't have online banking with my business account. When I went in the bank they showed me I did . So I changed the password that Jasmine had set up. I was told she would be dealt with accordingly. I later found out that she had been transferring money from my account for over a year and a half or longer and she had my business account connected to other accounts associated with her. As well as paying bills from my business account in which she was never authorized to do so. In January 2020 Wells Fargo closed my business account after I had contacted cooperate and made them aware of the situation. I was also banned from the bank. I was lied on and discriminated against for no reason other than a disgruntled employee. Over 9k dollars was taken out of my account plus overdraft fees that she caused. I have nevertheless caused any problems nor issues with Wells Fargo. And for them to allow an employee with a prior felony record to knowingly still from a customer and do nothing about it is a disgrace. I talked to other branches of this company and they stated she should have been terminated immediately and my funds should have been returned.

My account

I checked my account today only to find out my account is overdrawn. I was told there was a reversal credit applied to my account. Why it took 5months to be applied to my account. This should not be the customer fault I use this account for misalliance things. This is the reason I don't allow my paycheck to be deposited in my account. This may seems petty to the customer service representative and supervisor I spoke to via chat. This is big for me, I have an account that can't be overdrawn. Why am I being penalized for a bank error? There has to be something that can be done. This is unfair to me as a customer to basically wake up and see my account is overdrawn.
