BANK LEAST AFFECTED BY THE BANKING DISASTER WHO DID NOT NEED OR WANT THE BAILOUT BUT WAS FORCED TO TAKE IT. PAID IT BACK THE SECOND IT WAS ALLOWED TO DO SO. CHECK IT OUT FOR YOURSELF.EXCELLENT SERVICE AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL. CONSCIENTIOUS WITH CUSTOMER BEST INTEREST ALWAYS INCLUDED IN DECISIONS MADE.I HAVE BEEN CUSTOMERS FOR MANY YEARS AND THE SERVICE AND ATTENTION TO OUR NEEDS IS BEYOND EXCELLENT. NOT MANY PLACES CAN BOAST THAT.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND WELLS FARGO TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO OPEN AN ACCOUNT. I HAVE NOT BEEN ASKED IN ANY WAY TO WRITE THIS REVIEW, BUT WAS DISMAYED BY THE REVIEW ON THIS SITE. KEEP IN MIND EVERY COMPANY HAS SOME EMPLOYEES WHO ARE HAVING A BAD DAY OR ARE JUST NOT AS NICE AS THEY APPEARED IN THEIR HIRING INTERVIEW.

Trouble with check cashing

We pay contractors weekly for their work of renovating our property. When they go to Wells Fargo to cash their personal checks issued to them, they have been having problems ,but never had before. There was no reason why their pay, that they worked for should have been held up for a week, while it cleared our bank ( different bank). The week after that when he went to cash the next check , the month was accidently written as a 9 when it was supposed to be a 6 for June. This minor detail that was obviously just an error could have been either passed over by Wells Fargo, or they could have just made a phone call to us to ask about it. It had nothing to do with the amount or signature anyway. Instead of doing that they declined to cash his check, which caused him to have to drive across town to have us change that 9 to a 6 for June. What a pain when someone is already worn out from working that day. Why are there so many problems with details and excuses at Wells Fargo ?

Wells Fargo Home Equity Loan Review from Los Angeles, California

I have been a Wells Fargo customers for the past 27 years as a mortgage holder and several bank account personal and business. After paying down my mortgage to a balance of $3408.00. I decided to applied for a home equity line of credit. Knowing Wells Fargo held my current mortgage and them knowing my history i applied with them. Only to get to the process of being conditionally approved by the bank and after 2 weeks of waiting to be declined. I have paid my mortgage on time and sometimes paid more than whats was due on this loan. Only to be turned down. If you the bank are in the business of making money why you can see this as another business opportunity I don't understand. For you to not stand behind me when I need you as my banker. It's not like I was asking for a lot of money just $30k. Our home is worth $502k go figure. But what you came down to was my little salon has showed a loss and that showed no stability. Well that salon has held its own without a small business loan and has had it door open for 13 other independent contractors to worked there small business. The sad part is offer me a solution instead of just saying NO. My take on this is in 3 months I will have more income of about $1200 more a month because I won't have to pay a mortgage. I guess I could take it from my deferred compensation account but then the taxes on that is about $2800. Why Wells Fargo would not take a chance on me lets me know they don't care about there relationship with there customers. What's funny is I stay with you once I found out YOUR company was giving African American and Hispanics customers loans that they couldn't afford or making sure the interest was so high they could not afford it. I think you call that crooked business dealing. Yes I am African Americans and for those reasons I am taking it personal. You should be ashamed of your practices.

I just want to say how disappointed I am I have been with Wells Fargo for years now! And it shocks me that someone couldn't have the education to help me. I call to get a new card just because I changed my last name and I tell the guy that and he claims my card as "lost" when I specifically said DO NOT CHANGE MY NUMBER what does he do he changes my card number and now I can't use my debit card all weekend long because I work all weekend long that was why I did not want my card cancelled and they he tells me "oh I'm sorry I didn't know" after I sat there and explained to him the situation now I'm screwed going to be late on my bills all because of his incopetant self. Mistakes like that are not okay.... And then he tells me "well I'm sorry I can't help you" well I appreciated the whole screw up never going back after being with you all for 9 years now

Wells Fargo Money Transfer Review from Houston, Texas

In October of 2015 my mom had transferred $2000 from her chase quick pay account via my email to my Wells Fargo account. My email was connect to the wrong account. The money never hit my account and was never sent back to hers. We have several complaints and claims with Wells Fargo. They refuse to help us retrieve the money. They claim that it's not in there hands and they can not do anything about the issue.

Wells Fargo - Worst Customer Service and worst Web site

I wanted to payoff my 401k loan. So I went to their retirementplan website. It has no single information about loan payoff. It says call customer service. That's All!!!. I called Customer Service and waited for nearly 1 hour and phone got cut off. I searched their website and could not find any information. Also they have one of the weird way of showing the transaction report. I can never understand easily my personal contribution and personal transactions. It mixes up with *** other unnecessary investment information which does not make any sense. I have to use my calculator to figure out my own transaction. *** idiots have designed. Just go to Fidelity and learn how they report and learn from it. idoiottas. I liked Fidelity better. I don't know why my company switched to Wells Fargo.

This is the worst banking experience I have ever had. I have a very serious problem that is costing me hundreds of dollars and a ruined vacation because the banker I called lied to me. Now I'm in a foreign country with no access to my account and not a single Banker I spoke with can help me. Furthermore one of the bankers I spoke with told me there was no problems with my account and that no transactions were being declined however this was a blatant lie. Needless to say the other bank cards that I have Chase being one of them is giving me no problems whatsoever. I'm documenting it every step of the way and I will post everything on YouTube. Wells Fargo has terrible customer service that will say anything just to get you off the phone. I confirmed with the supervisor I spoke with that the calls were being recorded and I will post said recording the second I get back to the States. Thank God I didn't rely only on Wells Fargo they are very unreliable and I would have been left in a foreign country if I did. Furthermore the customer service representative at Wells Fargo were more interested in what they couldn't do for me then what they could. So if you want to be left high and dry when you need your money the most absolutely bank with Wells Fargo otherwise Chase is the best option.

Wells Fargo fraud department needs to do their job! I reported that someone was using my stolen debit card, forged my signature on printed checks they got from Wells Fargo after being able to access my wellsfargo online account and they did nothing even though I cancelled the stolen card and made a Police Report. Then they hit me with $35.00 NSF fees and expect me to pay for all charges.

*** Moranic Fraud Department - the Worst experiences

many times over the last 6 months, my debit card has been blocked, sometimes weekly, but really it has gone on since 2011 for me, it is now May 2016. Today, I booked 2 expedia flights, and then went to Dollar rental and booked a car, they blocked Dollar because Dollar processed the transaction Dublin, OH, I was flying into Cleveland, OH to pick up the car. What's wrong with that ? Last week I booked an expedia flight, then booked a second, and they blocked the second one, but I spent an hour before I realized the second one was blocked, then time on the phone, etc. They said..oh you should book your travel plans with us....WTF...I do not want to book travel plans with my bank, I don't believe banks should be invasive of my private life, it's bad enough that USA is 20th in the Freedom index as it is, monitoring of people in the USA is bad enough. It is my money, I check my bank statement every day, I do not need WF to check my transactions, I will tell them if something is wrong. I have an RV, I sometimes go through 5 states and I now have to carry cash, because I cannot trust WF debit card blocking anymore. I order a lot of stuff online, Amazon, ebay, etc and I've had them block purchases in the USA and elsewhere, even at the work diner, they blocked my card because it's in another state, yet for months, I've been going to the same work diner and they can't even see that. The end result is I have to get rid of WF bank, I'm sick of them.

I WAS A VICTIM OF IDENTITY THEFT AND THEY DID THE SAME THING TO ME. INSTEAD OF SUPPORTING THEIR LOYAL CUSTOMER, THEY FROZE MY ACCOUNT, KEPT MY MONEY AND THEN TOLD ME IT WOULD BE A WEEK BEFORE I COULD HAVE MY OWN MONEY. THEY ARE COUNTING ON PEOPLE NOT BEING ABLE TO GET AN ATTORNEY, OBVIOUSLY, BECAUSE IT IS NOT LEGAL FOR A BANK TO KEEP MY MONEY, AND THEY DID NOT HELP ME FIND OUT WHO VIOLATED MY IDENTITY. (NEITHER DID THE POLICE) MOREOVER, THE LADIES AND DISTRICT MANAGER AT THE BANK LAUGHED ABOUT HOW MUCH IDENTITY THEFT OCCURS. TOTALLY INAPPROPRIATE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I WILL NEVER BACK WITH THEM AGAIN.
