Claims/dispute department personnels are chronic liars
Some persons on This department at wells Fargo are chronic liars .
They could clearly tell you even in writing that they have conducted investigation on the disputed matters but actually they have done nothing about it. I had a case and verified with the third part in this disputed matter and they said nobody in wells Fargo bank have contacted them at all.I do advise wells Fargo management to reshuffle this dpt for it does not stand for customers. It is the pure misinforming customers .
Further,the ppl work on this dpt are very rude and unprofessional.
I m working to get hold of Betsy Duke,chairperson of the board to resolve this matter with wellsfargo.

Wells Fargo damages credit while others don't.
Wells Fargo is the ONLY company that pulled a hard credit check on me in more than 3 years. I applied for 2 store credit cards last October and was approved for both.
Yet only the one that was financed through Wells Fargo indicated a hard credit check had occurred. Yesterday I was helping my brother get an auto loan and bounced through about 10 lenders and the ONLY one that used a hard credit check was Wells Fargo. Even when Wells Fargo is even contacted regarding a loan they will still damage your credit even if the information was incomplete or even when it is improved. Two scenarios of a customer's reaction will lead to them accepting the loan, even if the consumer finds it to be a bad deal, because they will not want to damage their credit by applying to another company.
They could believe that further damage is ahead and will accept a less favorable option. Another possible implication is the consumer goes to another lender and finds the credit damage, so they go to another lender and are stuck with the credit damage. I am most similar to the latter. Last year about 6000 employees were fired because of fictitious accounts and those are often created using chunks of data that were from real people.
One of my sisters has been complaining about getting a bad loan on her boat for years. Wells Fargo is not a trustworthy, fair, reputable or potentially sustainable business. What is the best way to deal with Wells Fargo?
Protect yourself and don't. Save yourself the trouble of getting a bad loan, don't waste your time with a business that will cause credit damage and make sure that Wells Fargo has nothing to do with you next creditor or face the consequences.
Preferred solution: Warn consumers know that Wells Fargo will damage their credit, regardless of their application. Fix the 5 points off of my credit score and possibly the one from 2017. Change the scam type policy. I plan to cancel the card from 2017.

My housing counselor informed me this was predatory lending. I was not grossing 3,000 a month and somehow they boosted it up to their standards. Wells Fargo needs to fest up to their wrong.

Don't trust Wells Fargo Home Mortgage
We started our mortgage with Wells Fargo in July of last year. They had previously sent us a pre-approval letter.
After three months of waiting for them to figure out items we switched companies. The new company originated and closed our mortgage in three weeks. Wells Fargo had the following issues: 1. The were requiring flood insurance on the house which everyone (including the home appraisal company) did not require.
It appears they are in collusion with flood insurance sales; 2. They pressured personal bankers into making decisions without the consent of the client. In our case they were wanting account information without our consent that we would be using the account for the mortgage. They placed the banker in a very difficult situation needing to choose between appeasing the mortgage company or the client.
They apparently do not understand business ethics; 3. They charged us for a home appraisal but could not provide that the appraisal was performed by a AIR certified company (which the lenders apparently prefer). They will not refund the cost of the appraisal and will not provide certification of compliance. They apparently can't even use certified home appraisers.
In the end they seem surprised that they were fired after taking 3 months to attempt to complete a mortgage approval.
They have responding that they are "working on their system to avoid these problems". Good luck if you choose to use Wells Fargo Mortgage.

Yes, good idea to close account. These rude idiots need a wakeup call.They need us more than we need them.
Already in the process of closing one of my accounts with them, then the other. Who needs idiots?
