What the bank should have done is call me to find out about the checks before they deosited them.Also the signature on the back of the checks is a fraud.

Claims/dispute department personnels are chronic liars

Some persons on This department at wells Fargo are chronic liars .

They could clearly tell you even in writing that they have conducted investigation on the disputed matters but actually they have done nothing about it. I had a case and verified with the third part in this disputed matter and they said nobody in wells Fargo bank have contacted them at all.I do advise wells Fargo management to reshuffle this dpt for it does not stand for customers. It is the pure misinforming customers .

Further,the ppl work on this dpt are very rude and unprofessional.

I m working to get hold of Betsy Duke,chairperson of the board to resolve this matter with wellsfargo.

Wells Fargo sucks!

Should have stayed with Bank of America. They were charging me $30 a month maintenance fee so I decided to switch to Wells Fargo. What a huge mistake that was. Two weeks later I have yet to get my debit card and don’t even know if my checks have been ordered. Still cannot get on the website. Worst bank ever. Consumer beware!

Bad customer service

I have been a customer for 10yrs or more I went around to the Middletown De branch 2/28/2018 I did not see anu customer service worker at there desk so i waited about 5mins and walked around until I found someone sitting in the financial planner office I asked where was everyone and he told me very rudely someone would be with me, He never got up to see what was going on or to even find out where the other workers were at.after about another 10mins a worker came from out back and helped me with my problem. when I call in to speak to the branch manger I was told by the assistant manger(who I believe was the same rude person I had spoke to when I was in the office) he told me he took care of all compliants. I told him what had happen and he said would look into the matter. Two weeks passed and I never heard back from anyone so I called back and spoke to the branch manger Ashley and she stated if the compliant dept though this compliant had any merit someone would be getting back to me.she sounded very sarcastic and told me to have a nice weekend I knew she was being sarcastic because that was on a monday.so after10yrs I am closing out my acct with them. good customer service goes a long way and they do not have it at this bank branch.

Mobile credit card machine

Bought 1st machine 40a month they pulled 1400 out of my account 3 months lator.then they shut down this machine cause me to get another then continue to charge for both machines for 4yrs .they said didnt show record of any transactions like this

Wells Fargo damages credit while others don't.

Wells Fargo is the ONLY company that pulled a hard credit check on me in more than 3 years. I applied for 2 store credit cards last October and was approved for both.

Yet only the one that was financed through Wells Fargo indicated a hard credit check had occurred. Yesterday I was helping my brother get an auto loan and bounced through about 10 lenders and the ONLY one that used a hard credit check was Wells Fargo. Even when Wells Fargo is even contacted regarding a loan they will still damage your credit even if the information was incomplete or even when it is improved. Two scenarios of a customer's reaction will lead to them accepting the loan, even if the consumer finds it to be a bad deal, because they will not want to damage their credit by applying to another company.

They could believe that further damage is ahead and will accept a less favorable option. Another possible implication is the consumer goes to another lender and finds the credit damage, so they go to another lender and are stuck with the credit damage. I am most similar to the latter. Last year about 6000 employees were fired because of fictitious accounts and those are often created using chunks of data that were from real people.

One of my sisters has been complaining about getting a bad loan on her boat for years. Wells Fargo is not a trustworthy, fair, reputable or potentially sustainable business. What is the best way to deal with Wells Fargo?

Protect yourself and don't. Save yourself the trouble of getting a bad loan, don't waste your time with a business that will cause credit damage and make sure that Wells Fargo has nothing to do with you next creditor or face the consequences.

Credit Sabotage only Wells Fargo does

Preferred solution: Warn consumers know that Wells Fargo will damage their credit, regardless of their application. Fix the 5 points off of my credit score and possibly the one from 2017. Change the scam type policy. I plan to cancel the card from 2017.

My housing counselor informed me this was predatory lending. I was not grossing 3,000 a month and somehow they boosted it up to their standards. Wells Fargo needs to fest up to their wrong.

Wells Fargo Suck and they are crooks...i will never and will never ever refer anyone to this bank. There should be a special team to go in and scrutize them they won't look at my application for a modification..as they tricked me into a loan they knew I couldnt afford no one ever told me about how much my monthly mortgage payments would be until settlement.

When crooks do sneaky stuff that's what happens and for ur information I have another friend that was not told by Wells Fargo what their monthly mortgage would be until settlement. If you have never experienced this you have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO SAY NOW TAKE THAT..

Have a business account, wrote a check to our mechanic , they wouldn't cash it for him , they said owner of account needs to be present , or sign the back of check. We sign the back of the check , and they still wouldn't cash it , my mechanic calls me from the bank telling me , I spoke to the branch manager while he was standing there and when I was done talking she threw his phone at him , still wouldn't cash the check. I called and told her that's unacceptable, and she tells me she will no longer work with me because I'm the rude one . This is just one percent of our problems with them.

Don't trust Wells Fargo Home Mortgage

We started our mortgage with Wells Fargo in July of last year. They had previously sent us a pre-approval letter.

After three months of waiting for them to figure out items we switched companies. The new company originated and closed our mortgage in three weeks. Wells Fargo had the following issues: 1. The were requiring flood insurance on the house which everyone (including the home appraisal company) did not require.

It appears they are in collusion with flood insurance sales; 2. They pressured personal bankers into making decisions without the consent of the client. In our case they were wanting account information without our consent that we would be using the account for the mortgage. They placed the banker in a very difficult situation needing to choose between appeasing the mortgage company or the client.

They apparently do not understand business ethics; 3. They charged us for a home appraisal but could not provide that the appraisal was performed by a AIR certified company (which the lenders apparently prefer). They will not refund the cost of the appraisal and will not provide certification of compliance. They apparently can't even use certified home appraisers.

In the end they seem surprised that they were fired after taking 3 months to attempt to complete a mortgage approval.

They have responding that they are "working on their system to avoid these problems". Good luck if you choose to use Wells Fargo Mortgage.

No wobder, Wells Fargo, is being sued, again and again, this time by Navaho Indian tribe, one of they're biggest clients, for preditary practices. Also, Ireally doubt they're online services are secure, as Im having problems with them , and after 4 or 5 calls, and emails, they have failed to solve anything.I am totally ready to switch banks, for my mortgage, and close Visa acct.

with them. The list goes on, but, I want to go and find a better bank, with, better trained people.

Home repairs

We received a check from our insurance company who is affiliated with Well Fargo, this check was funds to pay for the repairs we had done on our home. We went into the branch (Humble, Tx.) after we received the check with all the correct endorsement from the mortgage company. Now a month before when we received the first check for repairs on our home the teller at the bank explained to us that we had to cash the check in order for Well Fargo to deposit it into the construction company account. So this is what we did. Moving forward to our experience today(3-13-18). We went through the same processes, handed the teller the check to cash and deposit it into the construction company account. This the teller tells us she can't cash the check she can only deposit it. So my husband and I explain to her what we were told the last time. She tells us she can't explain why they did it like that the first time but it shouldn't have been done. So we say, okay, just deposit it into the construction company account. Then she tells us she need to call their legal department to see what would be the best thing to do. So my husband and I wait while this lady is on the phone sitting behind a Petition for more then thirty minutes. Not one time did she tell us peek her hand around to signify that is would be a little long. We just stood there waiting. After she gets off of the phone she comes back to the window and tell us the the signature from the mortgage company is not an authentic one then she proceeds to show us what their stamp certificate looks like. So I asked her how do you know what the mortgage company certificate stamp look like and how can you say that theirs is not an authentic one. So my husband gave her (the teller) the mortgage company number so she could call to verify. Now this teller was so sure she was not going to do our transaction that she lied. She pretended to call the mortgage company but not realizing that she needed our loan information in order to speak with an agent regarding our account, but that didn't stop her, she came back to the window and said the same thing that she said before we stood for almost an hour waiting on her the first time. To make a long scenario short the mortgage company didn't issue the check the insurance company did who is affiliated with Well Fargo. So yes, someone need to retrain the employees at this branch because they have no idea of what they are doing.
