Wells F!@#rgo Stinks

Do yourself a favor and avoid these people at Wells Fargo. I had a 12k credit limit on the card, paid off the card to bring it to 0 balance and overnight they chopped me down to 2k credit limit. I have a 780 Credit score and never a late payment anywhere. Called and got a snippy credit analyst who wanted would not shut up and tried telling me to do a credit check( which I already had done) on my own or they could do a hard credit check (which would bring my credit score down a bit) and I declined. She did absolutely nothing to keep my business after being a customer for 12 years. She got an attitude and transferred me for the 3rd time. THANKS FOR MAKING MY DECISION EASY. I closed out the account. It is worth taking the credit hit not to give that POS bank any of my business.

They pulled something a few years ago with my car loan too while I am at it. I had a 60month car loan with them about 2 years through. Never missed a payment. Payment was due on Friday and their collections dept called me on Monday morning asking where the payment is. I got online and checked my bill pay and it showed withdrawn. I expressed this to the guy on the phone and he stated he did not see it and needed a promise of payment and a credit card or something to get the payment immediately. After 30 minutes of explaining and him not listening and basically insulting me as if I had not paid it in months I had enough. I hung up and had a payment in full paying off the car to them the next day.

I WILL NOT STOP AT AVOIDING THIS BANK!!!!!!!!

They will never see me as a customer again.

Hidden ATM fees and unauthorized credit card activation

We are all used to paying that 2-3 dollar fee for using an ATM not owned by our bank. Well after checking my online statements really close i found out that in addition to the $2.50 ATM fees that I pay, Wells Fargo charges me an additional $4 for using an outside bank. $6.50 to withdraw from an outside ATM? I got $40 dollars out, that's more than a 16% charge! In addition, Wells Fargo sent me a credit card that I never asked for and they automatically activated it even though I never called the number on the card that supposedly activates it. Every action they did seemed like they were trying to screw me over rather than help me out, so I withdrew my money in a jiffy and found a bank that actually cares about its customers.

Wells Fargo bank treats you like dirt

Wells Fargo account service for Direct Reinvestment Plans

For many years I had a Direct Reinvestment Plan with Merck. Some time ago this plan was taken over by shareowneronline.com which is Wells Fargo (much to my great horror). At that time I stopped getting any statements from them. So I called and it was quite a chore to get such a simple thing fixed, I ended up having to call multiple times to start receiving account statements again.

When I started getting them I found out, for the first time, that Merck had many years ago spun off Medco Health, and I had some shares of that of which I'd also never gotten any statement for from either the original company or Wells Fargo. That was a nice chunk of change I didn't even know I had.

About two years ago I told them to only send hard copy statements through the mail and to block all online access because of a keylogger trojan problem I had. Most companies like Vanguard immediately took care of the issue, but Wells Fargo it was the same problem all over again, they'd say they stopped online access and yet I could still log on. So once again it took multiple calls and finally speaking to the right person who fixed it for me.

So for the last six months, having solved my trojan problems, I asked them to give me access back to my account online. I did this with all the mutual fund companies, banks and my two brokerage accounts. Everything went fine except for Wells Fargo. Still to this day I do not have access to my account online. I just spoke with them again today, and they said "so-n-so in such and such department is working on it, but I'm not in that department, and they're gone for the day, so I can't see what the status of it is". I've had two supervisors promise me they'd look into it and fix it, and call me back. They never do.

I can't get over such a major bank as Wells Fargo being so terrible with their customer service but I'm not at all surprised by it. In the 1980's I had savings and checking at a Wells Fargo in Vallejo, CA, and later in Elko, Nevada and I found on several occasions where deposits had not been credited to my account OR that they had credited the incorrect amounts. Needless to say I quit doing business with them! When I moved to Visalia, CA the first bank we came to in town was a Wells Fargo, and as I had a bunch of gold coins with me that I carried in my car on the move, I went in, opened a free checking and then got a safe deposit box to put my gold in. I knew I was only anchoring the safe deposit with the checking, as at that time they told me I had to have an account there to have the safe box.

Each year we'd get a bill for the box and we'd pay it, but we never went to the branch anymore. When we first started banking in Visalia in 1989 we started an account at Wells Fargo just because it was the first bank we found, and I knew it was a mistake. Every single month our statement was fouled up! They had deposits wrong, always smaller than what we deposited. I never did hear an explanation of why this kept occurring. So after about six months of a checking nightmare with these bozos we switched over to Coast Savings and Loan which later was taken over by another bank, but with them we never had even one problem. So we didn't go to the branch much anymore. When we closed the account we asked about the Safe Box and they said it was OK, considering what they'd put us through, it was OK to keep the box there without an account.

One day I was downtown where the bank was, and I stopped in my tracks and stared in wonder at the vacant lot where the bank had been. There were some workmen there getting ready to build something and I asked them, "Where did Wells Fargo go?" And they kinda laughed at me and said "It's down the street a few blocks". And indeed there was the new location of my bank branch. I asked my wife and we had never received notice the branch was moving probably because we only had a safe deposit box.

I went in the bank and took my key to the safe deposit window, I was glad to see they had my card on file and we went in to the area with the boxes, and the girl took me to a box with the same number as mine only it was the smallest box you can get instead of the very large box I had. She then said that's all there is. I explained to her about my box and she didn't have a clue what could have happened to my box. I had to go sit down, I felt faint and ill. I didn't raise my voice or become angry at all. I was just over-whelmed and the stress of the situation was completely taken physically by me.

Then this woman comes over, she was elderly and wearing a crooked little wig. She was immediately hostile to me and at first it took me a second to realize what was happening, I was in a fog and still felt like I was going to fall over. She really woke me up when she said, "We don't need your kind of people in this bank". Now you must realize, I was very well dressed and clean shaven. I wasn't acting drunk or on drugs. I explained to her that I was upset because they didn't seem to have my safe deposit box. She wanted my account number and when I didn't have one as we no longer had accounts there, she was openly hostile and venomous toward me. I asked her if she had me confused with someone else, and she just mumbled something and sort of wandered away. I just sat there dumbfounded, and then she came back and renewed her attack, saying she was the assistant manager and if I didn't leave she would call the police. Perhaps my suit and tie clashed and that was what was upsetting her? About that time the original young woman came rushing over looking very concerned that Mrs. Whackjob was hassling me, and she pleaded with the woman that I was a customer and that they had misplaced my safe deposit box, but they had now found it! Relieved I followed her with Mrs. Whackjob following us mumbling things behind me, and they took me to my box and all was well. Yea! That's the most important part. They had two banks of boxes with duplicate numbers and the really big boxes didn't get used much so the girl didn't know.

After checking all my stuff and on the way out the assistant manager (who I've meanly called Mrs. Whackjob) stopped me, barring my way, and said as I didn't have an account in their bank I would have to remove my safe deposit box right away. I assured her that I would do so immediately and made sure I wrote down her name. I spent part of the afternoon on the phone to the corporate HQ of Wells Fargo explaining to them that they had a mental patient working as the assistant manager of their branch. I later received two letters of apology from the bank, carefully worded so as to avoid any admission of guilt. I swore I'd never deal with Wells Fargo Bank ever again, as they really sucked.

Then in 2009 my mom in Vallejo, California had a stroke in May and had passed away by October. Unfortunately for me, she had her checking account at Wells Fargo. I won't bore you with all the details but they put me and my mom through *** because she couldn't come into the bank, and even though I had full legal power of attorney which I provided them, they still made both our lives miserable just trying to cash a check or pay a few bills for her. What we had to do was, I just paid everything out of my checking and then she later would reimburse me, things like that because we couldn't get through to the *** at the Vallejo branch that I had all the legal paper work in order. My estate attorney told me they were famous for making it really hard to get the money in these cases, and in his opinion it wasn't because they were making sure relatives weren't ripping off elderly parents, but because of just stupidity and a desire to keep the money in their bank as long as possible. I'm not sure about that but they treated me and my mom both like ****.

Today, they finally resolved it and called me, before 8 in the morning! Did I expect any better? Here's what I wrote them: "Customer service, I have a problem. After trying for quite some time to get re-access to my account, you folks finally resolved it and called me back, at 7:40 AM my time.

I don't really like being woke up by phone calls from Wells Fargo, but my son is in the Mao Clinic in Scottsdale, and so I thought the phone call must be about him. It was upsetting to say the least.

Once again you've exceeded all expectations for incredibly poor customer service.

Thanks a whole *** lot!"

Then later today they responded with this:

"Thank you for your email.

We would like to apologize for the inconvenience and concern caused by the early morning call you received today from our office regarding online access to your account.

We value our opportunity to serve shareholders and our goal is to provide the highest level of courteous and efficient service. In this case, we fell short of our goal. Please be assured that we are committed to providing quality service and appreciate the additional time and effort on your part to bring this to our attention. So then I called them to talk to them about this and another question I had, and guess what? In their effort to provide me with excellent customer service, they put me on hold for 28 minutes before someone came to assist me. And then they couldn't help me, they didn't know what to do, and tried to transfer me to another department, apologized when that department didn't answer their phone, tried again and then lost me, I ended up with a dial tone.

Wells Fargo's service is just so third world! I bet the banks are better in Uganda!

Wells Fargo is an absolute joke. They are charging hidden late fee payments for future months.

I will never use them again and I will tell everyone I know not to use them.

They are crooks that get away with robbing the average American because they can.

They also ruined my credit as well. I was late on a payment I without knowing about it they reported me 30 days late and not my credit score is down 60 points.

B.s!! What happened to a warning phone call first??

Guest

I too had an issue with Matress Firm. My problem was more with the product and POOR POOR customer service.

My bed was dropped off at 2000 hours and damaged. The driver told me to keep it and they will send out for anther. I did that and sent up a time for a new one to come. They called two weeks later (date it was going to be dropped off) and said it had been stolen, then it wast ordered then it was lost or sent to another store.

A few calls to the HQ and two days later I had my bed. None the less, I shouldn't have to deal with this BS just for a bed.

And the sales man, whtta a mouth on that kind! No problems with WellsFargo yet

Guest

wells fargo financial is separate from the main bank and offers financing solutions to the companies that offer it's credit cards, I would try going to mattress firm for payment information and receipts, if that doesn't work try calling customer service number on the back of the wells fargo financial card. 1-87*-***-**** this may be the right number, I'm not sure exactly what went on here but hopefully this is helpful!oh and if all else fails and you are still concerned about your credit there are lawyers that specialize in disputing items on your credit report.

Wells Fargo Auto Finance harrassment for two days late payment

I wish to add my comments to the growing list here of pissed off consumers who had the misfortune of signing a loan agreement with Wells Fargo Auto Finance. I have had a loan with them for 5 years and had never missed a payment until I had a serious illness that took me away from my work. I missed ONE payment and they called non-stop! I made arrangements to make the payment two weeks after its due date and I received harrassing phone calls on Saturdays and Sundays for three consecutive weeks--EVEN AFTER I MADE THE PAYMENT!

Willie, I bet you work for wells fargo. The op's point is that they know they are behind.

Collections is not doing them any favors by adding to the stress with repetitive harassing calls. Wells fargo seems to think they are above the law.

They will soon find out otherwise. Trust me.

Wells Fargo Mortgage FLOOD INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS

Wells Fargo Mortgage Company, its officers and employers are incompetent. Why?

Wells Fargo requires flood insurance to match your home owners insurance (fire & theft) up to $250.000. However they state in their own documents, that flood insurance needs to be sufficient for replacement cost coverage. As a result of their incompetency, individuals are carrying FEMA flood insurance higher than replacement cost coverage. This is very wrong and Wells Fargo Mortgage Insurance practices must stop.

Please help in this effort by having your flood insurance reduced only to replacement cost coverage and as such save on FEMA flood insurance premiums. Potential class action suit is possible.

yes this crazy they are requiring us to have 250,ooo in flood insuance and are billing us an extra 200 a month .. and i cant get any help

Guest

I have received a letter in Change in the Amount of Flood Insurance Required from Wells Fargo. My HOA pays for coverage and each building has only $65K coverage.

Do I need to get supplemental coverage equal outstanding balance of my loan or replacement cost value, say 15k more? I am soooo confused- I have coverage why would I buy another one?

Please advise.

Guest

I agree, Wells Fargo is trying to force us to purchase $250,000 flood insurance on a mortgage that is only $160,000. This is completely wrong in my opinion and should be stopped.

They need only to protect their interest.

We have enough flood insurance to cover the mortgage. Lawmakers must do something to hold these banks and other lenders accountable!

Guest

Well Fargo is not incompetent. They are making money (yours and mine) hand over fist with forcing flood insurance on people who are not even in a flood plain and the laugh while they do it, claiming that the have a right to demand any type of insurance at any time!

Guest

I'm required to carry 250,000 flood insurance, Wells Fargo applied there own policy on my home this year . AFTER faxing proof of the required insurance, and 2 reviews they decided to refund all but 56.00 of the 487.00 that was taken from my escrow account.

One month later I received a letter today letting me know my escrow will be short again, so I have to pay over a hundred dollars more now or have a payment increase , to cover the increase in my Homeowners insurance, which was increased by none other than WELLS FARGO.

Strange 3 times in 2 years my escrow account is short on funds.

Guest

I had to pay to over $500 to get an elevation survey done because apparently the $7500 in coverage that we had was not enough for Wells Fargo. they put their own insurance one, which of course has a premium of well over $2000 /yr.

So I am only now able to get flood insurance which was once $150 year, now we have to pay over $500 because for whatever dumb reason FLOOD insurance has to match dollar for dollar for the homeowners...WHAT?!? I hate their policy and think it is ridiculous since this house doesn't even have a basement because it is in a flood zone.

why would a flood ever cause damage that expensive?!? Makes no sense!!

you can get flood insurance from allstate ,just tell the bank you are changing insurance,,those bankers can really screw peoples lives,,they once hit me with a 4,000 flood insurance and the people at allstate advised me and now i pay 360.00 a year,,what a change. good luck to you.

I would safely suggest to all homeowners to refinance with another bank. Once they see the amount of homes they are loosing, maybe they will wake up.

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-1220232

I refinanced my Wells Mortgage. They stole money by not dating the insurance back to the closing date as the law now requires.

They basically said their PMI agreements say they can operate outside of current law.

They know it would cost you nearly as much to sue as they owe you $125 (59 filing fee, if you lose, you've paid 1/2 that amount, on top of already being screwed). It's hard to believe the gall they have - to say they operate outside of the current laws is a joke.

Guest

My experience with the flood insurance issue is just crazy. I got a notification that my house has been placed in a flood zone by FEMA and that I had 45 days to purchase insurance to cover there requirements.

My house is new construction built 2 months ago, in a new sub division. My appraisal shows that I am not in a flood zone. Wells Fargo said the map has changed. I looked at the new map and it shows the flood zone moving further away from my property.

I went to my insurance company USAA and ask them about it and they checked and confirmed I am not in a flood zone. I spoke with a representative from Wells Fargo and he said my house was close to a flood zone so I was included. I asked what could I do. I was informed that I would have to dispute it with FEMA, even though the FEMA map clearly shows I'm not in a flood zone.

USAA had retrieved a letter of map revision from FEMA that showed I was not in a flood zone. Wells Fargo rejected the FEMA letter because it was issued before the new map which shows the flood zone moved further away from my property. My USAA insurance representative was flabergasted by what Wells Fargo was doing. After I presented my information to Wells Fargo the representative I was talking to at Wells Frago stopped taking my calls would not answer my emails any longer, so I called a general number and got a different representative.

I presented this representative with the information and she said she would request a re-issueance of the letter I got from FEMA. I asked how long does this take. She said about 60 days, I said you only gave me 45 days. She replied if we charge you we will give you your money back.

I don't believe that. If they know it takes 60 days which I confirmed with FEMA then if they only allow 45 days they will at least get you for a month or two. My next move was to ask my insurance company to issue me a policy until I get this straight. They couldn't issue me a policy for being in a flood zone because I was not in a flood zone.

I bet Wells Fargo knows that too. So what do you do now? Wells Fargo will take your money at this point at an inflated cost and I would be willing to bet they are in bed with the insurance company for which they will be forcing me to use. Is this legal?

It can't be!!! After I submit all the necessary paperwork I am going to contact my attorney general and see if they are interested in my story. Just by accusation they can take money from homeowners. That's amazing to me...

Is this a dictatorship or a democracy? China or the US wait its not even China cause its not the government its a big bank crushing little people..

If you can't flush you may get flushed

Ruth Langsjoen Defendant Wells Fargo vs. Ruth Langsjoen Ruth Langsjoen has been a resident of Sacramento California for fifty years, she is a widow who raised four children as a single mother. She does possess a spotless record without so much as a speeding ticket in her entire life. She has purchased two homes in Sacramento area by working everyday of her life associated in the medical profession and had been the owner of Doctors Placement Agency located in the Sacramento El dorado Medical Society where she has also generously contributed to Sacramento's Medical Meusium. When she purchased Employment Agency in 1980 at that time it was profitable and it is no exaggeration she is responsible for providing literally hundreds of residents jobs in the medical field and gave countless people the beginning to their life's careers. Even when she mortgaged her own home to keep the business going threw troubled economic times she to provided jobs for so many struggling to find work It is a fact she recently closed the doors to her office and brought her business with years of resumes and connections to her home incase this economy recovers and work becomes available again. It is a fact that anyone who would bother to investigate her background would not find one single missed mortgage payment ,not even a late payment on her loan up until the county sewers backed up, flooded her home and property, exposed her to carcinogenic toxins and left her with the majority of her life's belongings non salvageable due to Sacramento sewer systems improperly installed( not connected) and her belongings flooded away with raw sewage. This lead to The county admitting the problem was not addressed when she complained of it one year prior to orders to evacuate the home immediately, take nothing with her besides her two dogs one of which required one year of veterinarian monitoring and medications however was fatally exposed to toxic waist according to autopsies. This tradjety worsens when Ruth's health also diminished and she suffered a stroke while displaced from her home for over five months.Sacramento County insurance is The George Hills Company, Art Turner the adjuster has signed a promissory note accepting all liability for costs , clean up and repairs to her property,Although The majority of the Hotel was paid by the county she still has paid thousands of her own money in hotels bills and extra added expenses, 35 hundred in vet bill alone. Never has the county settled her claim which was to include the loss of use of her home, taxes insurance and utilities since after all she was enter the home again until finished and cleared of the Black Mold .I believe I failed to include the fact that at some point in those 156 days while she was thirty extra miles from her office , living out of a hotel with her two large dogs ( that could not be left alone in the room) her home was burglarized and her remaining valubles which did not become declared non salvageable were stolen when her home was broken into by vandles. All this began with the Sacramento sewers flooding her home, She merely wanted her belongings replaced and her out of pocket re emberssed and did not hire a lawyer to sue as most people these days would instantly try to profit from. But the county never settled the claim and her home owners insurance she has had with Farmers for forty years denied any claim . To top things off the crowning blow was to find that her home was taken back by the bank of wells Fargo after paying regular payments and never late one time since 1978 until the Sacramento county sewers flooded her home. Ruth Langsjoen will be 80 years old in January 2011.If only the toilets in her home flushed as well as she is seemingly being flushed away by those responsible for her inability to make the payments. By the way the home still has toxic mold inside the walls as it was never correctly fixed we pray that some way she can remain in her home by placing the late payments on te end of the loan and getting a modification as she has never had any type of financial counseling because it was never needed until the flood of the sewage that flushed fifty years of work right down the drain. all statements are verified and documented by several entities who performed work and the promissory note accepting liabilities for damages has not as of yet been made good, rather than replacing all of her belongings she had the late payments on top of her list of priorities,If only the responsible parties would be as responsible then she would not be driving herself to the court house this morning with nothing but fear and anxiety of the eviction notice served upon her to vacate her home. Will the Judge not allow her some loan modification? Will he offer her mediation of some sort? Or will'' we the people '' force an eighty year old woman with only her dog to now live in the streets to fend for herself ? She is not at all at fault for any of this and the facts are anybodies toilet can over flow,ow is a person to know for sure if their sewer line is connected to the sewer main unles it actually backs up ,and floods your home, The sacramento county admitted knowledge of thsi but told her to call the plumber. She did that and installed two new commodes, plumbers could not find problems with her plumbing in the home

My paid off loan didn't show three years later

Applied for an auto loan at C.U. and found the balance that was paid off three years before to Wells Fargo showing on my credit report as being written off. Showed a balance of $5,550 that I had sent a certified check to them 3 years ago. I t took several tries to get someone to talk to before we got the promise that they would remedy the situation although it could take up to 45 days. They appolagized. Gee Thanks, that helps alot!. I certainly would not reccommend anyone use Wells Fargo for any kind of loan service.

I have tried three times to get a modification, after each time they say they didn't get paperwork.I send them what they ask and they say later they didn't get it,but not until they stop answering the phone and the deadline passes.Wellsfargo must think that I like wasting their time and mine, they know I'm trying but they will not help.Plus every few weeks I get a new person to deal with and have to explain everything again and again. Why can't this thing be simple they know what your trying to do and they make it so dificult and personal.

My husband & I have been the victims of Mortgage Fraud by Wells Fargo. This has been going on for years. It all started when we asked them to deter a late payment when our Nephew died. They told us we were eligible for a Loan Modification and told us not to make payments during the application phase. This misleading conduct went on up until we were served foreclosure papers. They then of course claimed no recollection of our conversations. We were forced to pay them a large lump sum of late payments + Fees that we had no way of paying. We had to file Bankruptcy ch 13 to avoid loosing our Home.

-If that wasnt enough , they offered us a Loan Modification again a year later into the Bankruptcy. "A special program they had for people in Bankruptcy" This time they told us we were approved but insisted our firt payment was not due for two months later. They told us this was to help us. We told them we were not comfortable "Not Paying" with what happened previously. They refused to take our paynments. Of course, they turned around and later told us we were in default of our mortgage payment. (never sent us the agreement in writing as they promised weekly!) So Once again they scammed us. We tried so hard to find an attorney to represent us , but unfortunately in this part of Virginia, we had NO luck. The final Loan mod they approved after we paid up to date, is only cheaper minimally per month and did not ever consider the current decrease in value of the home. (upside down)

We researched and found that Wells Fargo did not even own our Mortgage, they were a Servicer for the Loan, and the owner of the note was in a trust that was securitized with thousands of other loans lumped together as Sub-prime loans. Mortgage law says they dont even have the right to foreclose on our Home. Finding a lawyer to help us prove this has been impossible for us thus far.

-Currently Wells Fargo sold our Mortgage (or servicing rights!) to a company called BSI Servicing. They then supposively transfered the mortgage to two other Trusts since! Basically we believe our mortgage is not really owned by any legitamate means.

Any advise for finding Legal Recourse???? We believe we still need to sue Wells Fargo as they are the original Company that commited fraud by milseading and lying to us into default, foreclosure, and ultimately ongoing Bankruptcy which has ruined our credit not to mention the psychological tulle it has put on our marriage and family. Our House is our Home, we never "tried" to NOT PAY anyone. We were victims of deciept on a much higher level. We believe we have a solid case and we do have documentation. Currently this BSI Servicing Co has yet to mail s any official paperwork for loan info or monthly statements, just various notification papers.

They do not own our Mortgage either. We researched theyre company as well and they are known for "taking over" properties and businesses headed for FORECLOSURE, Sub-prime!

So our Bankruptcy wont last for ever, we realize we will have to take action, before they do. We are willing to fight, as we said this is our HOME, we have three children who would agree.

Please any information or guidance appreciated!!!!

Sincerely Jennifer C

J&J, If you are still wanting more information in your case you may want to contact both the State Attorney General in Virginia and file a complaint as well as the Public Trustee in your county to get info obout your foreclosure. I have been a victim myself for a very similar reason but took different actions to keep my home.

A close friend of mine had passed and I was taken off guard by the event, missing a payment. Wells pushed me into foreclosure and ran me around for a long time even when I attempted to make up the payment they passed the CASH back to me and said call our lawyers before the foreclosure was even official. Recently I found a non profit law firm that is accepting cases on them, I hope. The number I called was 800-529-****.

I have tried to contact 6-8 lawyers here in CO and none even bothered to call me back.

Keep trying and if you need to contact me for your case I would be happy to help take this Monster down. (chizmann@***.com)

Wells Fargo doesn't care

Have home projects visa that I have made monthly on time payments for 2 yrs , my last payment arrived 1 just 1 day late and a $35 late fee was applied. I called customer service to have removed and was advised statement reflects due date and that if not paid by due date the late fee applies.

I expressed my on time history but it fell on deaf ears!

It is dishearting with the way the economy is today and every$1 means so much to us middle class americans that they would be so uncaring! At my final straw I asked that my account be closed and without skipping a beat they advised it had been done along with reminding me that there is still a balance owed on the account WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE/CONCERN EVER!!!!!!!!

I love how they have the worst customer service ever for something that was your fault to begin with.

At least the heartless bastards are consistent. I've never been treated like that before dealing with them

Pay on time and at least the minimum and you wont have problems like the one you explained...Easy solution be responsible! Its not Wells Fargo fault for your late payment. Do better next time!

Sorry for the typos. That is I will never use Wells Fargo Home Projects Visa ever again! I wanted to make sure their name was spelled correctly/

I had the same experience as Kevans. I have always paid early and more than the minimum.

Made a payment less than the minimum and they charged a $35 late fee. Called to see if they would forgive this one time oversight and I was treated like a dead beat. Wanted payment right then. However due date was not till a month away.

Will not ever use Wells Fargo Home Prijects Vusa again! Run from it!

Lied about transferring rewards points

Wells Fargo manager told me if i opened a new account with new/better features they could transfer my rewards points. I had 40,000. When I went to book travel using the points I was told they were lost when I opened the new account. I told the person at the rewards center I was told these would transfer to my new account. His response was "Oh sorry, there is nothing we can do". So I called the branch where I have my account to see what they could do because the branch manager was totally incompetent and gave me wrong info! They said they will look into it. I bet

I MADE A COMPLAINT SOME TIME AGO ABOUT THE COLLECTION DEPARTMENT AND I NEVER RECEIVED A RESPONCE. THE PROBLEM THERE WAS A MIX UP IN MAKING MY PAYMENT THRU WACHOVIA AND NOT THAT I HADN'T MADE THE PAYMENT.

THE LADY AS OUT AND OUT RUDE AND HUNG UP ON ME. IF I HAD BEEN RUDE TO HER I WOULD EXPECT TO BE HUNG UP ON. SHE HUNG UP BECAUSE I WAS TRYING TO EXPLAIN THE PROBLEM AND SHE WOULD CUT ME OFF. I WAS WITH CENTRIAL FIDELITY THEN WACHOVIA AND WELLSFARGO SO I HAVE HAD AN ACCOUNT WITH THE SAME BANK FOR MANY YEARS.

SO FAR I AM NOT PLEASED WITH YOUR BANK. I KNOW CONSUMERS LIE AND SAY THE PAYMENTS IN THE MAIL WHEN IT ISN"T OR MAKE EXCUSES HOWEVER THAT WASN'T THE CASE.

THE MONEY HAD BEEN PAYED AND HAD TO BE TRANSFERRED TO THE RIGHT ACCOUNT. NEVER THE LESS THERE WAS NO REASON TO HANG UP ON ME
