Wells Fargo Auto Finance dishonesty

Wells Fargo Auto Finance purchased my contract on an RV from a dealer. Wells Fargo somehow 'lost' the contract they purchased and because they don't have the correct info on the 1rst payment due date (they screwed up and have it a month earlier) they have amassed a considerable sum in late charges that are not justified. They won't admit their error even tho I faxed them my copy of the contract. Also, to compliment their lack of honesty; they tried to tell me that my prepayment had gone to the principal of the loan, even tho their own monthly billing statement stated on numerous occasions that 'no payment was necessary at this time' which by the way coincides with my original contract. Wells Fargo Auto Finance calls me up to 10 times a day and hanging up after 1-2 rings. When i do speak with one of their representatives, they all profess ignorance of what other representatives are doing in regards to this dispute. I've never had so much dissatifaction with a company as I do now with Wells Fargo Auto Finance.

Wow, you're lucky with your *** rate of 14%. Rimrock Auto got me for 18% and said it was because I had "young credit".

I at first accepted their extended warrenty & then declined it because it was outragously priced. Then they wouldn't honor the one I found myself & said, "That particular company owes us a lot of money."

Our country is in a mess as a result of greedy dishonest banks and car dealers. Rim rock auto manipulated paper work I olearned at home my signature was to pay $41,000 for a used chevy.

My trade in was worth 9,000 interest over $10,000 refinanced my trade in Rimrock took for predatory rates around 14%. Told Wells Fargo they said Dealer gave my address as an empty lot (seting me up).

Car did not work warranty was bogus. PISSED OFF

Wells Fargo and Elite Collateral Recovery

I recieved a letter Elite about repossessing a car of someone's whom had moved-When I called over and over to tell them hey-I am not the party-I was accused of harboring the party and hung up on--I have no link to either company my car is not financed through them-I can tell you I WILL NEVER use them-I am innocent of this whole thing and just happened to move the address of the person in collections and they accused me of harborment and hung up-RUDE and CRUDE-both companies-I will tell all not to use both for a thing

Wells Fargo - No help in mortgage

do to the economy work has cut back on hours and jobs have been lost. when trying to work with wells fargo on a modification, do to the lower value of my home and the lower income. the statement i received was "you can send in papers but, if you make your payment, it will kick you out of the system. they want me to use every bit of my saving , what little is left. they don't want to help the people that are trying. they only work with though that are delinquent. they want me to screw up my credit scores, that i worked so hard to keep.

Wells Fargo - I'm not pleased with Elizabeth S.Lively in wellsfargo bank.

I was misguided by the banking personal Elizabeth S.Lively, regarding my checks problem.She did not have mean knowledge about her Job, and just misleaded me. I've brought a check from an International bank and deposited in my account. However, because of lack of funds, my check was returned, and I did not receive it yet. So, I approached the bank in las cruces, unfortunately Elizabeth, she told me that my check was destroyed and trashed, and I was also told that I'll never receive my check back, and she left me hopelessly, for which I felt very bad. This continued for 4 days. Finally, when I approached another banker, he guided me very well and helped me in getting back my check. So friends, If you are in Las Cruces, dont ever approach Elizabeth in Wells fargo bank for any sort of queries. You may land into troubles. I'm writing this beacause I dont want anyone to face problems, which I have beared.

I am a lawyer licensed in 2 states. Do not waste your time or heart tissue with worry.

Simply write Account is closed on the latest bill they send you and be done with it. If they send another inform them you will sue for harasment and be done.

If they ever contact you again do it, you could get a tidy little sum because anything below $15000 is cheaper for them to settle than fight. Also notice Wells Fargo is the subject of way to many complaints, and they know it.

Also, contact your State Attorney Generals Office and your Congressman. Trust me, this will get the attention it deserves.

Wells Fargo is A Heartless Bank

After being on time with 29 payments never missing one for my car payments, we ran into some financial difficulties. spoke with someone in the department about a week a half ago and he said, no problem, just call back after the due date and they will give you a deferment on payment for a month. Called back today 10/13/08 and after going through their chain of command in their collections department, I was told by the floor supervisor verbatim "We are not heartless, we want our money" among other words. I live on social security and had just run into a temporary situation. On time for 2 1/2 years and this is how a bank treats good customers? I can't believe it.

A story is circulating in the LA media today about a Wells Fargo executive, Cheronda Guyton, who allegedly moved into a foreclosed property being held by the bank and threw lavish parties there.

The previous owners of the Malibu, CA home, which is or was supposedly worth $12 million, lost the house after they lost all their money to Bernard Madoff.

According to reports, Guyton, who oversees foreclosed commercial properties, moved into the swanky home with her husband and two children and even had a large party there the last weekend in August.

What is this, Risky Business 2?

According to the LA Times, the bank said its ethics code wouldn't let Wells Fargo employees "make personal use of property that had been surrendered to satisfy debts."

The Realtor for the house told the Times that Wells Fargo WFC 27.92 0.49 (+1.79%) wouldn't show the house to potential buyers either. The bank stated that it had some kind of agreement with the prior owner to keep it off the market for "a period of time."

Now I'm not sure what rights an owner has to tell any bank what to do with a home after said bank has already foreclosed on the property.

I am sure that whether or not the Wells Fargo executive was hanging out there legally or illegally, she is definitely acting unethically.

First of all, I doubt any VP who oversees commercial foreclosures makes enough money to afford to purchase a $12 million home, even at today's discount prices. (According to the Times a person at the home, who wouldn't come out, told the reporter through the intercom that the home was owned by Collin Equities, which just so happens to be a Wells Fargo company in charge of liquidating foreclosures.)

Secondly, in what warped Wells universe does said VP think a) this is a good idea, and b) she can get away with it?

I called Wells and received the following statement:

Collin Equities is a wholly owned subsidiary of Wells Fargo that manages, leases, and liquidates properties owned by Wells Fargo through the process of collection.

The property located at 23360 Malibu Colony Drive is owned by Collin Equities, a subsidiary of Wells Fargo. The company took possession of the property in May 2009.

The property was transferred pursuant to the terms of a private agreement between Wells Fargo and the prior owner. Under the terms of the private arrangement, the property was withheld from the market for a period of time and accordingly Wells Fargo has not yet listed the property for sale, but plans to do so in the near future.

Consistent with our policies, Wells Fargo will conduct a thorough investigation of the allegations.

Wells Fargo’s Code of Ethics and Business Conduct handbook instructs team members to avoid conflicts of interest or the appearance of conflicts of interest in their personal and business activities.

We don't discuss specific team member situations/issues for privacy reasons.

I don't often have a lot of sympathy for multi-millionaires who lose their homes to foreclosure because of reckless investing, but I don't know anything about these previous owners, and when I hear the Madoff connection, I do start to feel for them. Hey, I'm all for making a ton of money legitimately and spending it nicely. The house, by the way, is spectacular, at least what can see on the Realtor's website: www.106malibucolony.com. I can see where someone might be tempted, but seriously folks. This is over the top.

Oh, and by the way, according to the Obama Administration's latest progress report on its Making Home Affordable loan modification plan, Wells Fargo has started trial modifications on just 11 percent of the homes that the program deems eligible. I was at the hearing earlier this week, when members of the House Financial Services Committee grilled administration officials about the poor showings from many of the banks. Administration officials said the banks need to do more. I realize this particular executive works on the commercial, not residential side of the foreclosure crisis, but it does make you wonder....

Wells Fargo - Bank thinks I am fauding THEM!

Dear Sirs,I have been a trusted customer of Wells Fargo Bank for many years. I have always enjoyed the friendly atmosphere, andtrusted each and every bank employee, whether in person, in letter format or over the telephone.Unfortunately, the service was inadequate because my claim was denied. I am disappointed because the service was notperformed correctly. I was billed for a purchase that I absolutely did not make: 05/21/08 POS PURCHASE - CHEVRON/IZZET KCHEVRON/IZSAN JOSE CA 1615 $60.00 I was told - after more than once inquiring - that "we are not making any further adjustment to your account", and most importantly, it's implied that I made a false claim. This error is unacceptable. It is difficult to believe that companies are still doing business this way in the year 2008. I trust that you will please take the time to explain to me how this could have happened. I am hereby requesting that to resolve the problem and insult, I would appreciate my account being adjusted. Please contact me at the below address or email to confirm that you will honor my request within 21 days. Would you please advise me if Wells Fargo Bank is still interested in doing business with me, or if what has happened here is your not so delicate way of telling me to do my business elsewhere. Wells Fargo Rep. Brian arrogantly insisted there was no problem

Wells Fargo representative arrogantly insisted there was no problem when the bank's automated phone number repeatedly sent me to the wrong information. It was a strange situation that was made worse by Brian's tone of voice that there was no problem. I finally decided to get help at another time. It would be great if Wells Fargo would listen to complaints and then investigate to determine if there IS a bad employee on their phones. Especially in this economic climate, it could cost them alot if they don't. Oh well, not my problem. Yay! That is all.

Wells Fargo - Fees

I too had small debits from a Friday come through on Tuesday with a large check. I should have had 1 NSF fee, but they always manage to make it look like all charges came through the same day and charge you 6 NSF fees. I have sent my complaint to the Office of the Controller of Currency. Don't know how they can get away with it. I had fraudulent charges on my account 3 weeks ago, and they have just now resolved that issue with items returned and huge late fees. When I asked how they can return items when the problems is still trying to be resolved, I got the answer of "Well, the system doesn't understand". What idiots.

This is very interesting...this George thing I have looked at the comments and they just don't get down to the real truth here. George likes to go to Mexico for the girls...many say little boys; I would have to agree with that one.

I went to wells fargo in rancho bernardo to do a wire transfer not noing that it was a scam the person helping me didnt question any of it at all. if he would have asked me that the person that it was going to is the same person that did the work i would have called that person and asked.

so I filed a clam with the fraud dept and of coures they said there is nothing they can do. so why are we insured by the federal goverment.

I have a mortgage with Wells Fargo which I have had for many years.

I refinanced 18 months ago with them with no problem. Rates dropped and they contacted me about refinancing again which I decided to do. After 4 months of nothing but problems (them losing items I faxed to then and having to refax many times etc) I was denied refinancing stating I had to much debt to income ratio.

Go figure refinancing would drop my payment that they are already

receiving now. Looks to me like they want to keep me at a higher interest and not interested in helping me lower payments. What kind of business is this?

Wells Fargo and Raymour and Flanigan

The terms that I purchased the furniture under changed after I received the goods. Then I was treated terribly by their credit factor Wells Fargo. When the electronic payment would have taken too long to get to them ( 4 days for a major financial institution ??) I tried to access their website to pay the bill. That failed as it is a convoluted mess. I called in payment that cost me $10. The payment was never received and when I called them I was treated awful by their customer service. The same exact scenario happened for the last payment as well!

When we bought furniture from Raymour & Flanigan, I was willing to pay the whole amount upfront. The sales guy threw in free warranty if I opened an account and paid part of it to that account.

I agreed and they told me that Raymour's issuing bank Wells Fargo would send bill me after 25 days at 0% APR. That did not happen. They sent me the bill on 10/30/2009 with the Payment due date as 10/30/2009 to be received before 3:00 PM Pacific. Luckily, I happen to work from home today and checked my mail during lunch hour to discover this.

Also I happen to have the money to pay them off online which I did.

But I am certain that these crooks (Wells Fargo) play these dirty tricks to rake in the Finance Charges. I will never bank with Wells Fargo bank ever.

I've been dealing with Wells Fargo for the past 3 years with my house and car loan. This is by far the worst company I have ever had to deal with. My car pymt is due on the 22nd of the month, if my pymt isn't there by the 25th, they call me non-stop starting at 8:30AM, I have cussed at them because I had my first pymt changed to the first of the month, I now put up with their computer calling me non-stop. I am now in the process of getting my house reprocessed and paying off my car just to get out from under Wells Fargo!
